I got ready. But I was distracted all the time.

Will Solace.

Will solace was the reason why I have seriously been distracted for the last few hours I've been awake.

It was beginning to annoy Hazel.

'Nico! Will you concentrate!' Hazel signed, annoyed I wasn't listening to her.

I looked at her eyes, as she began to talk nonsense again, I zoned out.

After her talk, I walked out the house, me and Hazel walking in different directions.

Hazel went to a school for girls with talent whereas I went to a school they looked down upon, a school who welcomes anyone, not just the disabled, there is nothing wrong with that, they have disabled people too, it's just the stupid ones that they have a problem with and I'm in lowest set for everything.

I have ADHD, which doesn't help my dyslexia or my speaking.

I knock on Will's door, I wasn't expecting to see Will's face, after all he's deaf! I saw the person who I was looking for, miss Solace.

"Hey Nico, why don't you come in, Will's been waiting for you." I admit, it sounded a bit creepy, like Will was going to murder me with a fucking chainsaw.

Will must have been waiting for me because he ran over, knocking his mom out of the way to see me.

He rapidly moved his hands around.

His mom walks up to him, pretending to be angry.

'William Solace!' His mom began, moving her hands in a way that told you she was mad.

'Pushing your own mother to see your friend! I'm hurt.'

Will just shrugged and waved goodbye to his mom

We walked outside and passed the few houses that live on our street.

I looked over to see Will staring off into the distance, his wild hair flying around.

He was gorgeous.

I couldn't keep my eyes off him, until he turned around and caught me red handed.

'Is there something on my face?' Will signed, worried for his face.

Not wanting to be caught staring, I pointed to a random place on his face and pretended to wipe off something.

'Thanks, don't want to look like an idiot' he signed, smiling his beautiful smile.

I think if I was deaf, it would be so much easier to be friends with Will, then, we could have something in common.

If only I was deaf.
