We walked in Will's house as he pressed a button at the side of the door.

A buzzer to let his parents know he's home.

A woman in jeans and a shirt that where splattered with paint walked in smiling like a maniac.

Her hands moved to sign 'who's this with you Will?' She also added a wink on the end which made me blush, and front he look of Will's ears, him too.

I couldn't see Will's hands, but I guess he answered with something.

Will's mom I'm guessing was also talking which probably meant she wasn't deaf.

I decided to try and talk to her, if she can't hear me than I'm a complete idiot.

"H-hi I'm Nico, I live next door." I started with, stuttering at the start.

"Hi Nico, Will already told me."

I kind of felt bad, seeing as Will couldn't hear, it meant I was leaving him out, like I used to.

I started to use sign language which was just a lot easier.

'So Will, is your lovely mother!?' I asked, my hands a lot more natural than talking.

'Yes but she's not all that lovely.' Will earned a smack on the head by his mother.

'I'm the best parent who's ever lived William! No doubt about it!'

I began to laugh.

'Will, would you go up for two seconds?' Asked Will's mom.

'You do this with every one mom, I still don't know what you talk to them about,' but Will began to finally walk up the staircase.

"Hey Nico, I'm just going to say thank god your parents told you sign language! Will finds it hard to make friends because of his disability. I know it must be hard on you to use your second language to talk to Will, but thank you. But you don't have to be his friend, it must be hard, I assure you, just tell him that you think it's hard to communicate, I don't want to break his heart, if I don't say this to deaf people, they normally find it hard to communicate. It breaks my heart to see Will cry."

"N-no n-need to thank me, speaking is a-actually a-a second language to me, I don't plan on making Will's life a misery." I replied, feeling immensely sorry for Will.

"Oh, have you always known sign language?"

"I think so, I was deaf since I was born, I was a-around ten when I got treatment." We stayed in silence until she told me I could go up to Will.

'What did my mom talk to you about?'
