A/N: Sorry for the late update, it's been super chaotic :0 Please enjoy this chapter~~
After that little incidence, I decided to avoid any eye contact with Tomiyami-san and Terijensumu-san. Although over the course of the month, their popularity shot up really quickly. Whenever I was walking through the passages, their names would pop out of someone's conversation. Ranging from topics of their pedigree to their looks and to their IQ.
Basically, it went like this...
"Did you know that their parents are from a really esteemed lineage??" said a Year 7 student.
"Wow, they're so cute!! I really want to talk to them!"
"I wish I could marry him!!"
"Hehe, I think I like Terijensumu-sama!"
Blah blah blah! Ahhh all this gossip about those two, are really starting to creep me out! We're only 6 years old! Isn't love talk a little early?? What about all those cooties rumours that kids like to joke about?
Their popularity is too much, it's becoming too much. When I'm dragged into these conversations, I try my best to agree but it gets tiring. I've lost track on a number of times I've said: "Yes, they are indeed."
Once they hit puberty, this would only get worse wouldn't it?
The girls and boys excitedly whisper to each other whenever they see Terijensumu and Tomiyami pass by. They have this aura around them that really stood out after all, so the two of them together doubled the effect.
I'm just as cute as them, aren't I??
But my self-esteem seems to be boosted because of my current friends or followers surrounding me, Anya, Nadia and Danielle. Calling them my friends felt a little off since they were originally the friends of Crime-chan. So it felt like I had no choice but to be friends with them.
These three girls were all from wealthy families, in fact, their parents are business partners with mine. Therefore I have met the three of them at a few parties held by my parents. They weren't bad, but they were spoilt and didn't bother hiding it. But towards me, there were really sweet. They look up to me, after all~
Of course, other than me they looked up to the two top rankers. With Tomiyami-san in our class, they felt the need to protect him from other girls.
Just the other day we had a free lesson, all the girls took this opportunity to talk to Tomiyami-san that they started arguing about it. He looked really bothered. So Anya-chan immediately got up, followed by Nadia-chan and Danielle-chan to scare off the other girls.
Saying something along the lines of, "You have no right to speak to him, he's far above you!"
I had gotten up and tried to calm my friends down. Luckily they listened and returned to my table where we were chatting before the chaos. I had then tried to ease the tension in the class by telling them that we should try to get along by saying, "It's more important to make friends than enemies. Wouldn't our parents be proud of us?"
Friends before boys~~~
Whew, kids just have this thing for fighting all the time, they're too stubborn to get along because they think of themselves first. Especially since Aura Academy is a rich school...
During break time, DNA-chan were discussing how out of control the girls were in the class. The four of us sat together and behind my back I could hear the usual giggling. That is because everyone was staring at a certain pair.
"They really need to learn their place!"
Ah, don't take it out of the poor chopstick Anya-chan.
