Fiona's P.O.V
We hop into Jaces car and put on our seatbelt.
"Are you hungry?" Jace asked. I open my mouth. Pause. Then speak. "Very. I am extremely hungry, yes."
He laughs. He puts his arm behind my seat, turning around to see out the window and starts backing up. "Okay." He says simply.
I rest my head on the window as he drives smoothly away from the hospital.
"Where do you want to eat?" Jace asked. "I don't care." I speak not looking at him. I since him nod as my head rattles against the window.
After after a while we approach the restaurant Rally's. I turn my head towards Jace and give him a "are you serious" look and he just smirks.
We walk inside of the restaurant and we are immediately greeted by our waiter. "Hello welcome to Rally's just two?"
The waitress asks. "Yeah." Jace replies. "Okay, follow me!', the waitress exclaims enthusiastically.
She directs us to a table not far from a window. She sent us there and gives us menus.
"Can I start you guys off with anything to drink?" She asked. "I'll just have water please." " I'll have a Coke." Jace adds. "Okkie dokkie!"
She says chippy. I look at Jace and raise my eyebrows. He rolls his eyes. "I'll be right back." After she is out of sight I speak up.
"Wow she was full of energy." Jace scoffs. "She was just trying to get a good tip." I smile and look at the menu.
Jace continuously who looks up at me during the process. I smile and play his little game.
After a while he clears his throat and says "what are you getting?" I shrug. "Probably just some type of burger with fries." He nods and pop his lips. ''Same."
Just then his phone vibrates and he pulls his phone out of his pocket he opens it up and then his face turned pale and all expression has faded away.
Immediately I know something is wrong.
I finally updated! I had a really really bad case of writer's block. So sorry. I will try to update soon again. Also sorry for the very short update I just felt like it was needed.
