Chapter 24

Fionas P.O.V

"Fiona, what's this about?" I'm speechless. I mean I have an explanation but its so hard to say. Jace raises his eyebrows waiting for and answer.

I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out. So I just sit there, looking foolish, with my mouth hanging open. I swear a whole minute went by, atleast that's what it felt like. "Fiona!" I jump at his voice. "What?"

I ask scared. "What does this text mean!" He asks frustrated. "I-I-Jace...." He mouths the word what but no explanation comes out. "Whatever." He rolls his eyes and starts to gets up.

Jaces P.O.V

I can't believe Fiona wont just tell me the truth. I don't know what I have done to make her feel like she can't tell me something. "I'm pregnant!" I hear Fiona announce.

I stop walking up the stairs and turn around slowly. "What?" I say with disbelief. She nods slowly as tears fall down her cheeks. I stand there for what feels like....years.   

I let out a series of gasps as I shakily make my down the stairs. I sit on the floor and try to catch my breath. "I can't believe this is happening." I quietly mumble to myself. I look up at her with fresh tears spilling down my cheeks.

"Is it mine?" She nods. I let out a breath. I slide my hand down my face. I start to laugh at how screwd up my life is. "DAMMIT!" I yell. "Jace calm down!"

Fiona soothes. "How the freak do you think I can calm down!?! I'm having a baby! I don't know how to be a father! You think I wanna raise my baby to go through this shit!?!" She stands up immediately.

"And what you think I wanna raise through this shit too?!? No I don't but I'm not acting as stupid as you are so calm down!" I run my hands through my hair and plop onto the couch angrily.

She walks over and sits next to me. "I know you're upset and so am I, but that doesn't mean we focus on what might happen. We need to focus on what we need to do prevent that from happening.

I want this baby to have a bright future and I want it to have nice things." I sit up and look at her. I think about our future and how serious our relationship has got to get for this baby.

"I know I want the same things for our baby Fo." I push her head into my chest and cuddle her. I scratch circles on her back. "I'm sorry about the way I reacted.

I know you were nervous to tell me and it was for that exact reason. I was wrong babe." She sniffles. "Its okay, I am sorry not for telling you sooner." I look down at her.

"When did you know?" Two days after we...." I furrow my eyebrows. "You know..." I shook my head. "No...I don't know what did we do?" I joke trying to lighten the mood. She giggles.

"You know what we did." She says grabbing my chin and pressing her lips against mine. When she she kissed me it made my blood boil. Fireworks flew inside of me. Her lips were warm and smooth.

She pulled apart. I smiled down at her in my arms. "Promise me something?" I almost whisper. "What?" She smiles. "Promise no more of that "we can't be together" crap."

I smile. She smiles back. "I promise. I'll never leave your side...ever." I grin. I kiss her passionately. I lick her lips and pull apart making me want more. I bite my lip.

"You wanna know the good thing about you being pregnant?" I ask. "What's that?" She questions goofily. "Well, we can..." I lean down and whisper something dirty and intriguing in her ear.

I pull away and look her face. She raises her eyebrows and opens her mouth. "Whenever we want to?" She whispers. "Whenever...we...want to." She raises her eyebrows and looks away. She looks at her imaginary watch on her wrist then looks back up at me.

"What about right now?"  I furrow my eyebrows and bite my lip. "Girl yo face alone makes me...ooooooouuuu!" I pick her up as I ramble on about what I'm about to do to her. She laughs as I walk me and her up the stairs.
