Chapter Ten
He is so close I can't help but notice his slightly parted lips. How can he look so handsome so early in the morning.
Just as when he was about to close the distance, I closed my eyes and waited for those oh so inviting lips. My eyes where shut close when I heard him whisper. "I forgot my phone."
oh no not again! I can't believe I had fallen for that.
I tentatively opened my eyes and saw him get his phone from behind me under the covers.
Seeing my dumbfounded expression he smirked and ask "Why do you seem so disappointed? expecting something else?"
I quickly recovered. "You're so full of yourself." I fake gagged.
He chuckled.
Hearing him chuckle made my stomach do back flips. Damn why do even his chuckles bring some kind of effect on me.
'Nah maybe seeing him in nothing but his boxers shook some sanity out of me.'
After I had come out of that conclusion and fall back to earth, I noticed I'm alone in the room.
'Oh, alone at last.'
with that I started to unpack and get ready for school.
I just came out from the shower when the door burst open.
"Mom told me that I should give you a lift to school since--" He paused mid sentence when he noticed me.
"Waaaaaah!" I shouted. and it's twice this morning! I'm sure I'm pretty close to losing voice, screaming has been my thing a lot lately.
He cleared his throat and turned beet red and if it wasn't of the situation I would've laughed at him.. I've made Sam Michaels blush once again.
"You really should know how to lock the door next time." He muttered before shutting the door closed, locking it.
I instantly went in the bathroom to check my appearance. I can't believe he saw me like this. I groaned.
'Did you noticed how his eyes roamed your body.' My subconscious popped in my head.
'Shut up. I am supposed to make him fall for me, Aren't I?'
'So hungry for revenge. You haven't even made your progress'
'Yes I did'
'Yeah right!'
'But it's true.. He's so going to fall for me.'
'And you for him.'
'One word: Gross'
After a couple of minutes talking with my reflection. I went to change my clothes. and -with a handful of courage and bravery- went downstairs to see Sam impatiently pacing on the Living area.
"What took you so long? We're late." He sneered totally forgetting about the incident. But then I notice the time.. We're ten minutes late and the bell is supposed to ring in 5 minutes.
I didn't reply and dragged him outside.
"Where's your car?!" I asked.
"In the garage, I called someone to fix it don't worry."
"But how are we-- No no no way!" I stop mid sentence when I notice his bike -well more of like a death trap.-
He threw a spare headgear at me and ride his bike.
"Didn't you hear me? I said I'm not going anywhere in those."
He paid me no attention and took the headgear out of my hands and placed it on me.
My heart again started beating way fast for my liking when I noticed the distance between us. He's been adjusting some of the straps for it to fit into me.
'And let me tell you this, those eyes... I could get lost to--' I was out of my stance when he spoke.
"Are you going to keep on staring? We're late."
"I'm not going anywhere."
"It's this or detention."
"Still a N-O."
"Fine, see you at school." With that he turned on the engine.
o_O Is he really leaving me here?!?!
He was about to took off when I stopped him.
"Fine!" I shouted. and half-heartedly hopped in muttering a stream of curse words.
"It's now or never." I braced myself on my ride to death.
And he sped off.
