Chapter Seven
"What?!" I asked once I managed to calm my flamming cheeks.
"Aren't you going to use the it's-not-what-it-looks-like act on us? cause you sure looked like." That's Drake, the confident as ever. I can't believe something's going on between him and Christine.
"I don't owe you any explanation." I rolled my eyes.
An awkward silence settled between us but was broken when Sam dramatically sigh. We all looked at him.
"I guess there's no point in hiding babe." He looked seriously at me while I, on the other hand, was too dumbfounded to react. What is going on?! Babe?! where on earth did he get that? Before I can ask him what's he up to he spoke again this time looking at the two. "We're together now. Surprise, surprise."
After hearing that Christine squealed jumping to me and gave one of those suffocating giant bear hugs. "I knew it! I knew something's going on between the two of you!"
That's it I've had enough of this game.
WAIT.
This is absolutely perfect. I think I could use this in my advantage. So instead of denying it. I go along with it.
"I just kinda figured it out lately, who would have known huh? we spent our lives hating each other, and then it just came crashing down on me.. that--"
I swallowed there's no turning back now.
"That . . . all this time turns out I'm falling for my enemy." I finished my sentence looking at Sam lovingly.
and let me tell you this. . . .His face was priceless.
"You okay babe? cat got your tongue?" I asked him. Ha! he never saw that one coming.
But instead of hearing the words like "Ok! you got me. I was just joking, I will never ever commit."
He grabbed my waist and flashed me a smile that I am sure can cure cancer and could end wars.
"Everything's fine babe, I guess I still can't get over the fact that. . . you are all mine." he whispered the last words so that I only can hear it.
After hearing those words I felt all blood left my body and went all to my cheeks. I tried to speak and tell everyone it was all a lie, but I can't. Someone had taken over my body and I can't find my own voice. blame it on his damn smile.
"Get a room!" Drake rolled his eyes.
"oh my goooddd! we should totally celebrate!" Christine said as giddy as ever.
"Yayy!" I faked enthusiasm. I never should have trusted my luck in the hands of a bad boy.
FATE IS NEVER ON MY SIDE.

"What are you doing with Drake on the deserted school gym huh? Didn't you know he's a self-proclaimed badboy?" I asked Christine, on our way to our lockers.
"Says the girl I caught on top of no other than Sam Michaels, the chick-magnet." She mused. I instinctively blushed.
Thank goodness the boys had left.
"Kidding aside, we're sort of dating." She whispered blushing. "We knew each other long time ago, I met him in one of my summer class, we're taking art class together. but he transfered here so we parted ways and had no connection whatsoever. but look at us now, I can't believe we're studying in the same school. . . People call it coincidence, I call it fate. As cheesy as it sounds." She said dreamily.
