Author's Note: I seriously cannot wait for Season 5 of Young Dracula. I've heard Malik will get a new look and Erin won't be in it. I have no idea what to expect, but euphoria is overwhelming my fangirling soul.

Anyways, can you guys comment what you think is going to happen in the story? I wanna know where you see this is going...

(Oh, and the new characters may be a tad hard to keep up with, but all will be explained in the next chapter.) ~Wishi

Chapter Nine

Vlad's POV

Aargh. Ingrid. She has absolutely no right to tell me if I will or will not fall in love. Erin was never a mistake. And I will never regret a moment with her. That is, when her heart was still pumping blood, and when her lungs blew oxygen in and carbon out of her petite body.

I opened the door and felt everything but the cold steel from the doorknob, like the small breeze that flew in from the shattered windows and the smell of the blood sausages the children were eating inside.

Everybody was either on the tables and chairs or painting the ceiling fan with blood. "Hey!" I yelled, my voice growling in the room, "Sit down! The lot of you!"

The noise began to settle down and an awkward silence followed almost immediately.

"Quick! Hide! The Grand High Vampire is behind you!"

I looked at the familiar voice and smiled. "What's he wearing this time? A pink ballet dress? Or maybe... he's wearing his pirate costume!" I teased. The bubbly boy gazed back at me and giggled.

"No silly, he's wearing his tuxedo because it came back from the dry cleaners! Can't you see him? Or have you turned blind already?" Jeremiah chuckled. The class tried not to laugh, but looked at the poor boy in hope for recovery. He is just so special. Like a little brother, but even closer to me than that.

"You invited a breather to live with us?" Talia asked, inquisitive. I grinned and nodded, only to get a reply that was another question. "Why? Is she our biting practice?"

"NO!" I howled. The classroom filled with fear. I could see it in all of their eyes. "I don't think she'll stay for long, but she... she... she can help us." I stuttered.

"Do you think she can help me grow the blood bags tree in the graveyard?" Jeremiah questioned with confidence.

"Of course she can, sweetheart. She'll do more than that. I heard that breathers are really good at slaying Grand High Vampires. Maybe she can get rid of that old man in a split second!" Leila smiled, clapping her hands in excitement. Jeremiah looked back at me to confirm what Leila was saying was true.

I slightly nodded and moved towards the chair to sit on it. Any sudden movement could trigger something in Jeremiah's brain to make him go insane. And you wouldn't want a vampire to go haywire when there's a breather (that you really care about) in the castle.

An overlapping echo of voices was heard in the hallway. I used my super hearing to find out what they were saying, and more importantly, who 'they' were.

'"Ah, breakfast. I happened to have missed it this morning. You will do. A succulent breather with what smells like B+ blood running through her veins."'

There can only be that one blood-thirsty vampire in these halls. Aisha.

I flit outside to witness an almost angelic figure. Her gorgeous dress swayed in the gentle breeze that still flowed in that open window and her face looked as flawless as can be. Her hair was tied up so that not a single strand interfered with the perfection of her face. Her eye make-up was not attention grabbing, but soft, so her eyes did not drown in her face. She was the pure definition of perfection.

Riley.

And then there was Aisha. I've known her for so much longer than Riley, yet her beauty astounds me every time I see her. I began to fill up with glee, until I saw those fierce red eyes. They were on fire, as if the scent of Riley's blood was its fuel.

"Stand down, Aisha!" I yelled.
