Carly's POV

The morning couldn't come quick enough. I made it inside, dropped my purse, took my painfully high heeled shoes off, and got into my pajamas. Louie kept watching me, like he knew something was going on. I fed him some dinner, and decided to rest for a bit on the couch before going to bed. Violet had texted me 800 times and even called me a few times too, but I was just too busy reliving the best first kiss I ever had. It was still so surreal that Marshall was Eminem. I had heard some of his music before, mostly in the car on the way to school when I was in college. Things had changed in a year, though, and I decided to look him up on Youtube to listen to some of his music. I clicked the song Headlights, and rested back to listen to the song. When I closed my eyes, all I could see was his sweet face. The smile I had grown so fond of was beaming at me, and it made me feel so warm inside. His voice melted into my brain. This song was much different from the ones that he typically made. I had heard a few of his songs before, and none of them were like this. I remembered them being much more angry, and violent. Listening to the words of this song was a real open door to Marshall's life and what went down behind the scenes with his mother. It made me feel even worse to think that years ago when he was young, someone just like me had taken away his little brother.

I instantly felt guilty for listening to the song, because he obviously wasn't ready for me to know the details about his childhood. My childhood was brought up at dinner, and he was not interested in telling his yet. I knew it was a song on one of his albums that literally every fan had, but it was just different. I knew him, and really didn't want to mess anything up with him.

After a few hours of listening to some other stuff, I ended up drifting off to sleep.

....

The next morning, I awoke to Louie sitting on top of my chest, looking right at my face.

"Ahh!" I screamed, and when I jumped, it scared him so bad he flew halfway across the room. I got up instantly and went to check on him. He was okay, but obviously very upset with me. After we had our little heart to heart, I looked at my phone to see 2 missed calls from Marshall. What time was it?? How long did I sleep?

He had even sent me a text to check on me.

I've been thinking about you all morning. Hope everything is alright. Call me when you get a chance.

I called his number back and after a few rings he answered.

"Well good morning, sleepyhead. I was starting to worry."

"Sorry," I rushed out. "I don't know what happened. I fell asleep on my couch last night. I didn't mean to worry you."

"It's okay, just don't let that shit happen again," he joked, laughing through the phone.

I couldn't help but laugh back with him.

"Are you awake enough to meet me for some lunch?" He asked me quietly.

I bit my lip at the thought of seeing him three days in a row...especially after that amazing kiss.

"Yeah, if that's cool. I'll have to get dressed. Give me 20."

"Alright, I'll pick you up in 20."

I hung up the phone and tried to decide on what to wear.

Before i could even walk into my room to change, there was a knock at my door.

I opened the door, and lo and behold, there stood Violet with the craziest look on her face.

"You're dating Eminem?! And you didn't tell me?!"
