I Promise (Chara X Reader) [UNDERTALE]

A/N: Eyy! Chara is a guy here...I know he's considered they but here he's a dude. If you have any problem with regards to that please leave. Also..That's them in the pic. Can't find a pic where they look like a dude.

To people who don't know Chara I only have one answer: UNDERTALE! :3 Go ahead and do some research coz author chan is too lazy to explain.

WARNING: MIGHT NOT UNDERSTAND THE STORY IF UNDERTALE IS UNKNOWN TO READER.

You to Chara:

"Hey Chara..." I called you as I looked at you with eyes filled with sadness.

You were sobbing in front of me. You told me that you made a terrible mistake or rather...a sin.

"Hey...look at me." I told you firmly and you look up at me but instantly you avoid my gaze.

"Do you still remember that promise?" As soon as you heard those words you once again erupted into tears.

FLASHBACK;-;

You and I just started dating for a month. Our relationship was peaceful until I discovered that you have this very dark background.

I learned from my brother Sans(not really brother but we were like siblings) that when you were in the Underground, you had killed a ton of people (A skeleTON :3 //slapped). Good thing Frisk was there and the people you killed were never killed since he reseted the timeline and he stopped you. You became a good person and regretted everything but it didn't mean you were not gonna do it again.

Sans warned me to be careful of you and wanted us to break up but I refused because I love you. He understood but warned me of the consequences.

Because you changed now...right? You're not the same person now...right?

Unfortunately I was wrong.

I should've listened, I should've never ignored him... I was just too stupid.

Just to be safe, I talked to you about this.

Why did I ever trusted you?

"Chara!" I called you while I was running and once I reached you, I hugged you.

"(Y/n)!" You hugged me back and I can feel that you really love me.

I thought nothing could go wrong.

We shared a few smiles and chatted a bit, being that sweet couple we were.

Then I asked you..."Chara, is it true that you killed a lot of monsters in the Underground and committed GENOCIDE?" It was a dreadful question, one that I wanted you to tell me that it was not true. That you did not kill.

But of course you're a murderer. Yet I loved you...

"Yes, it's true." You answered with your voice filled with regret.

We both sat in the bench in silence for about five minutes until I finally broke that silence. I did not want you to think that I hate you since it seems that was what you were thinking, so I spoke.

"Chara I do not hate you for it. I still love you and I know you regret what you had done in the past." I embraced you and you then started to sob.

Our relationship continued but I noticed some of your dangerous characteristics. I needed to warn you before you commit the same mistake before.

"(Y/n)! Where were you?!" You asked me, that Yandere side of you is starting to show again and I don't like it.

"I was with Sans." I answered you, whilst you growled. I flinched at this, I did not like this side of you.
