Parenting Problems on the Enterprise (An Enterprise Crew X reader)

You walk up to the captain's chair. "Captain, because Doctor McCoy is not able to take care of me at the present time, he told me to come to you. Apparently you are supposed to be taking me in. Is this correct?"

He nods. "Sure is. I'm going to have to help you more later, but you can go down there now," He says, then whispers the combination to you.

"Thanks," You say, then go down to your new room. You stand at the door, replaying everything in your head, trying not to forget anything. You beat Sulu's record. Got a communicator call from Kirk. Went down to Medbay. Bones doesn't have a right leg from his knee down. Kirk is going to be your new 'father' for the time being. Actually, you'd consider him as more of an uncle. Uncle Kirk. 

You laugh at yourself quietly and walk into the room. It's not actually that messy, but a few things are out of place. It doesn't bother you much. You go and find the neat, small bed that has your extra set of clothes layed out on it. You sat down on it and felt around. It was really comfy. Then when you looked at your watch, you decided it would be time to go down to Medbay and see if they needed any help. It would give you something to do.

You started to happily skip down the hall to Medbay. You knew Bones was safe and well, so the thought of him never bothered you. Suddenly, you heard what sounded like a very loud CREAK!. 

You stop skipping and look around. Your heart was racing. What was happening?  The floor starts to tilt. You look again to both sides vigorously to see if anyone is there. Nobody. The whole ship turns on it's side rapidly, and you are thrown onto the wall. You groan and try to get up, but your leg must have hit something, because it hurts so bad you can't get up.

The ship lurches over to the other side and you are flung against the other wall, hitting your nose straight on. You are sure it is broken. Finally, the ship turns back to the normal, upright position, and you are thrown onto the floor. Again, you try to stand up, but your leg gives out from under you and you fall onto your back. You reach for your communicator to call for help.

"Jay to Medbay. I'm down in the hallway of the captain's quarters. Sorry, I don't remember exactly what level that is. My leg is hurting badly, please come soon."

"Ok, Jay, stay where you are, we're sending people now," says the temporary chief medical officer while Bones is out.

"Well, I'm definitely not going anywhere with this stupid leg. I think I sprained it."

A few doctors came off the turbo lift and to your side. One of them took out a tricorder and scanned you. "You've got a sprained knee and a slightly displaced nose. I never thought that a few little shakes could get you this bad!" The lady smiles at you. They pick you up on a stretcher and bring you down to Medbay and put you on a bed. They gave you a brace for your knee that made it easier to walk, but they said that you should not go walking all around the ship so that it would get better. They also fixed your nose. It was a little painful, but you got through it.

"No more going around the ship unless you absolutely need to. Soon you can go to bed, and you have to walk back to your quarters for that, but other than that stop walking. Just go over to your desk or something and entertain yourself."

You were really not liking the substitute Medical officer for Bones. You missed his sarcasm and funny puns. But you went over to your desk anyway. You got onto your interface and started a chatroom with Pavel and Hikaru. 

(CHATROOM)

You: Hey guys guess what

Chekov: What?

You: I fell down against the wall when the ship flipped and now I have a sprained knee

Sulu: Oh sorry about that...

Chekov: ARE U OK??

You: Yes, Pavel, calm down. I just have to wear a brace. And I'm not allowed to be just walking around the ship. I am only allowed to walk to Kirk's quarters and other important places. So much for the rec room today with you guys.

Sulu: Wow medbay just wow

Chekov: Maybe we can come visit you?

You: Sure! Come down whenever. If I'm not in here, then I'm asleep, so I'll probably be in here for a while.

Chekov: COOL WE'LL COME TO U DEN

You: Cool. When do you guys get off?

Sulu: Right now, actually. We're coming soon.

You: K. See you then

Chekov: <3

Chekov has logged off

Sulu: -_-

You: He thinks I didn't see it... :3

Sulu: XD

Sorry guys, just getting pumped on this book... :) anyone else just get super awesomed out when they are writing a book they really enjoy??
