Chapter 27

Harry's POV

"You're going to regret that Styles! I told you I would get her if you helped or not. Now your not even going to be able to protect her." Jason yelled 

The two guys grabbed my arms and held me in place as he pulled out a gun

Shit.

I heard Lee run back towards us.

"Lee, get out of here." I yelled as the two guys continued to hold me back

"No, no, she can stay and watch. Maybe it'll make her listen to me more." Jason said but I didn't take me eyes of off Lee

"Ready, sweetie?" He asked

"No!" She yelled, but he pulled the trigger

I managed to push one of the guys off of me but I still felt the bullet tear through my body.

I grunted in pain as I fell to the ground. Sirens filled my mind and I heard Jason run then I heard two voices over me.

One was Lee, but I couldn't make out what she was saying

I tried to speak but nothing came out

I then felt my body get lifted then it felt as though I was in a vehicle when I completely blacked out.

Lee's POV

"Miss Jones?" A small nurse called

I shot up from my place, laying across three uncomfortable chairs with my head on my Dad's lap

"Yes?" I asked

"Mr Styles is in his room, he should be waking up soon." she smiled

"Waking up? He's going to be okay?" I asked with a huge smile

"The bullet missed his heat by two centimetres, if he was any more to the left..." she trailed off

"But yes, he should be just fine." she smiled

I grinned as happy tears fell from my eyes.

"Lee?" I heard Anne

I turned to see her walking over to the nurse and I

"How is he?" she asked

"He's fine, he's alive." I beamed

"Oh, thank God." she cried, hugging me

"I can show you to his room, if you'd like." the nurse offered

"You should go." I said to Anne

"Thank you dear." she hugged me again then followed the nurse

Harry's POV

I felt something squeeze my hand as my eyes peeled open

"Harry!" I heard my Mum's voice

"Mum." I breathed out as she hugged me

I winced as pain shot through my body

"Sorry, sorry." she apologized

I looked down and saw a large bandage covering the top left half of my chest.

"How are you?" she asked

"Where's Lee?" I ignored her question

I tried to sit up, I need to protect her from them.

"Hey, lay down. Lee's fine. Shaken up, but she is perfectly fine. She's out in the waiting area." she said slowly
