Illusions Of Weightless Words

Drunken words are slurred out of your mouth

They're laced with lithium and an undertone of hatred

They hurt the confidents of your drought

Stumbling over lies and tripping on alibis

You come to a halt when your glass heart finally breaks

Your bittersweet liquid tainting every one you love

You don't take in the repercussions but you let us be your cushions.

Endless wars and timeless scars

We mend your broken self back to health cutting ourselves in the process

Stop creating useless fights

We only want to tend to your distress
