I got home from a hunt with Dean. It was a woman in white, and I almost died but where's the fun without a little bit of chaos.

"Hey, Jess," I heard a shower running so I assumed she was in the shower.

I got home in time for my entrance exams into college.

Honestly, life couldn't be better. I had one ounce of the hunt that I felt like I needed to get out and I was finally done. I dropped my things on the floor and I laid on the bed.

A deep sigh emerged from me and I smiled to myself. Life was honestly so perfect.

I felt a drip hit my forehead and I mentally cursed to myself. The damn ceiling was leaking.

My eyes snapped open and what I saw I wasn't prepared for.

"Jess!" I screamed. She was on the ceiling, stuck to it. Bleeding. Her eyes begged me to help her. I heard the door crash and Dean yell my name.

The weirdest thing is that I had a dream about this. Well it was more of a nightmare. I felt Dean start to pull me away as the ceiling erupted with flames and engulfed my beautiful Jess. I would never see her again, she would only haunt my dreams.

The memories of what happened to Dean and I's mother flooded my mind. I was the only one old enough to remember things like that and it was a mirror image of what Dad had been telling us about our mom.

"Sammy?" He said hesitantly.

I blinked twice. I was in some sort of daze and I finally had woken up.

"Sir? Can you tell me what happened exactly?" The police officer asked me. I looked around and saw flashing lights. My girlfriends remains being carried off in a body bag.

"Sir, I told you what happened. My brother and I walked in and there was a fire," Dean told the officer. He nodded and looked towards me.

"I'm sorry to hear about your girlfriend," He walked away.

"Are you okay, Sammy?" He asked me.

I didn't answer. I didn't want to. I didn't want to do anything but cry. I headed to the trunk of Dean's car and loaded a shotgun.

He looked at me quizzicality. I sighed and threw the shotgun into the trunk. I nodded towards Dean's look.

"We got work to do." I mumbled.
