I watched my brother sleep peacefully. He was a snorer but honestly I was so used to the sound I enjoyed it. When I first went to college I had trouble sleeping because I didn't have my brother by me, but then I got used to the silence.

But then Jess came along. Jess was a snorer too, but hers was light and feminine. It was weird and a completely new territory for me having a woman in my life. I was young when Mom died so I don't remember much.

I closed my eyes peacefully and tried to fall asleep. After a few moments my attempt was successful.

Dark.

Our house.

Woman.

Bad.

Evil.

I sat up in bed gasping for air. Another nightmare. This one was different to the rest thought, this one wasn't about Jess.

It had Dean and I's old house from Kansas in it. A woman, I didn't know who she was. Something very, very evil.

I quickly ran over to my little brothers lumpy bed and shook him awake.

"Dean," I said with panic in my voice.

He awoke to my urgency, "what's wrong?"

"We have to go home."

"Home?" He said it as if it were a foreign word.

"I had a dream about it," I started.

"It was just a dream, Sammy," He turned over. I sat on his bed next to him.

"I never told you this because I thought it was crazy," I paused. "I had a dream about Jess dying before it happened."

Dean turned over and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I had a dream about her dying before it happened. I just had another dream and I feel like it's something we should go investigate," I looked away from Dean's judging eyes and at the window. It was the middle of the night still.

"We're not working a case right now so if you really want to we can swing by Lawrence, maybe we can stop by Bobby's on the way," Dean closed his eyes once again.

My heart lurched when he said Bobby. God, I missed that man. Bobby was more of a father than our actual dad and he is absolutely amazing. I was excited to see him.

We were in North Dakota so it was a straight shoot down to Bobby's and then Lawerence.

I looked at my little brother while he was sleeping once more. His snore was louder because of the pose he was in but I watched him breath.

"I love you, Dean," I said so quietly I was sure he wouldn't hear me. He'd make fun of me if I said it when he was awake.
