"You must be Haley Collins. I'm Dean, this is Sam, we're, ah, we're rangers with the Park Service. Ranger Wilkinson sent us over. He wanted us to ask a few questions about your brother Tommy." I told the pretty woman in front of us. Haley Collins.

She looked hesitantly at Sam and then me. "Let me see some ID."

I grimaced and pulled an ID out of my pocket. It read Samuel Cole.

She carefully looked it over and I gave her a cheesy smile.

"Come on in," She opened up the screen door. Haley looked towards my car, "that yours?"

"Yeah," I responded.

"Nice car," she commented. I could feel myself swoon. Pretty girl who liked my car. Sweet!

I looked around and saw a younger boy playing on a laptop. The house was kinda small and cramped.

"So if Tommy isn't due back for awhile, how do you know something is wrong?" Sam asked her.

"He checks in every day by cell. He emails, photos, stupid little videos- we haven't heard anything in three days now," She said. Her voice was conveying her emotion of worrisome.

"Well maybe he can't get cell reception?" I suggest.

"Could've it been that he's having fun and couldn't check in?" Sam asked.

The boy on the laptop suddenly spoke, "He wouldn't do that."

"Our parents are gone. It's just my two brothers and me. We all keep pretty close tabs on each other." Haley explained.

"Can I see the pictures he sent you?" Sam asked. She nodded and headed over to the laptop her brother was on.

Sam and I walked over to the screen and saw a guy who resembled the two siblings.

"That's Tommy," Haley said. She clicked some more on the computer. The frame of the latest video came up. She clicked play.

"Hey Haley, day six, we're still out near Blackwater Ridge. We're fine, keeping safe, so don't worry, okay? Talk to you tomorrow!" A cheery Tom spoke.

A felt Sammy tense up and I realized he saw something I did not.

"Well, we'll find your brother. We're heading to Blackwater ridge first thing." I assured Haley who seemed to be getting nervous.

"Then maybe I'll see you there. Look, I can't sit around here anymore. So I hired a guy. I'm heading out in the morning, and I'm gonna find Tommy myself," she sighed.

"I think I know how you feel," I related to her. I wanted to find Dad. I could have cared less about Sammy's girlfriend Jess, but I knew he wanted to find her.

"Hey, do you mind forwarding these to me?" Sam asked suddenly.

"Sure!" She gave him a smile and they typed away on the computer.

I looked at the younger brother.

"Hey," I greeted him.

He nodded and looked at my expectantly.

"I'm Dean," I introduced myself.

"I'm Ben," he introduced himself as well.

"We're going to find your brother," I assured him. He nodded and looked off into the distance.

Dad told me always to never lie, but I always said things like that to make sure I did what I said.

I was going to find his brother.
