She surprises me by saying this, making me blush extremely hard as I bury my face in my pillows, just wanting them to swallow me up already. I can't even believe I said yes to a date. My mind was all jumbled up and I was thinking about getting back at Jason, even though I know that revenge should never fuel my decisions to do anything in life especially because Jason is someone I don't give a care for and he doesn't care for me either, so I just need to drop it.
"Chris is a really nice guy Jaira, and he's laid back. You don't need to wear anything fancy for him. Do you know what you guys are going to be doing?" she asks me as I'm still face deep in my pillows, I shake my head "OK, so just go with something safe. Something that says, 'i'm not easy, but if you put the work in, i'll spread 'em open like a bird flapping their wings'" she dies laughing, knowing how uncomfortable sex makes me sometimes, and she's taking full advantage of that right now
"Raaaaae!" I finally find the courage to get up and stand in front of my closet again "help me!" I pout a little and she sighs and get up to help me, thankfully

I get settled and wait downstairs with Rae, when there's a knock on the door and my stomach pretty much swallows itself, I'm so nervous. When Renee notices I'm not getting up she sighs and pull me up off the couch and pushes me to the door and opens it for me, and my jaw drops when I see Chris standing there.
