Chapter 5

Demetri's P.O.V

A couple of seconds after Madisyn fell asleep someone knocked on the door.

I sniffed and then groaned. "Kolton. Of course, out of all the people that come looking for her it's him. Then again he did promise that he was going to make sure that she wasn't alone with me. He didn't want her to get marked. A little to late for that one buddy," I thought as I got out of my bed, careful not to wake up Maddi.

I grabbed my shirt and put it on and then my jacket so he wouldn't suspect anything.

"What the hell do you need?" I asked as I opened the door.

"Is Madisyn in there?" he asked.

"Yes," I said and he tried to walk in. "What the hell are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm going to get my little sister," he said and tried to push me out of the way, but I didn't budge. "Move,"  he said and I shook my head.

"I'm the  Alpha's son and you are on my land," I said and some of the Alpha in me leaked into my voice. "You will listen to me or you will be kicked off, got it?" I asked and he nodded.

"But, we really need her," he said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because, our parents really want to take her home. They want to get all caught up on what has happened since they left."

"Are you guys leaving now?" I asked and he nodded. "I'll have her down in a couple of minutes," I said, he nodded and then left.

"Don't let them see the mark or they are going to kill you" Spencer ,my wolf, said as I walked back into the room to get Madisyn.

"Do you think that I'm that stupid,?" I asked.

"Yes," he replied and I shook my head. "I also think that you are a real bi-"

"THATS ENOUGH" I said and his talking was replaced with laughter.

I gently and slowly picked Madisyn up off the bed and into my arms bridal style.

"Demetri?" she whispered and looked at me. "I'm cold" she said and I nodded.

"Can you stand?" I asked and she nodded. I set her down by the bed and walked into my closet, I grabbed a red and black hoodie and handed it to her. She pulled it over her head and then held out her arms motioning for me to carry her.

After I picked her up again, she wrapped her arms around my neck and I walked down stairs where the rest of her family was waiting for her. He dad looked like he was going to strangle me when he saw her passed out in my arms.

"What is wrong with her?" he demanded and her siblings all took a huge step back in case anything happened.

"John!," his wife said and he turned to look at her. "Just because our daughter is passed out in his arms doesn't mean that he did something wrong or hurt her in any way."

"She just fell asleep," I said and Madisyn stirred.

"Demetri?" she asked again and I smiled.

"It's okay," I told her and she nodded and then rested her head against my shoulder. "I walked around looking for her, because I got worried. I found her in my room laying on the couch asleep and I let her be like that until Kolton came knocking."

"Fine," her dad said and I knew he still didn't believe me.

"He still doesn't believe me" I thought.
