My Alpha Mate

Chapter 6

Madisyn's P.O.V.

"Sweetie?" I heard some one ask and I opened my eyes.

"Demetri?" I whispered and I heard someone chuckle.

"I'm not Demetri, sweetheart," the voice said and I opened my eyes just a little to see my mom sitting there.

"Hey mom," I said and sat up. "Where am I?" I asked and she smiled.

"You are in our home," she replied.

Then I opened my eyes fully and that was when I noticed that Derek, Gavin, Hunter and Keaton were all sitting on the left side of the room.

"Hey," I said slowly and they all smiled. "Where's dad?" I asked looking at Gavin.

"He's in his office," he replied and looked at me. "Doing stuff."

"Stuff?" I asked and looked at mom. "What is he doing?"

"He's not in the best mood right now."

"Why?" I asked.

"He's still a little bit mad at what happened at Demetri's last night," she replied and looked at me. "Do you remember what happened?"

I went back to last night and I remember him trying to pull me out of Demetri's arms after I told him that I wanted Demetri to carry me to the car.

"Yes," I said and looked at her. "I didn't know that he was going to get that angry."

"Your mated to a guy he can't stand," Hunter said and sat next to me. "He hates if you even same his name. Last night when you picked him over your own father he was so close to losing it."

"Then Demetri went and said something that he did not like," Keaton said and smiled. "I have to hand it to the kid though, he has some balls if he can stand up to our father. He didn't even think about it twice, it just came out and he stood tall."

"He was very brave," my mother said and handed me some coffee. "I'm sure that his parents are very proud of him."

"Then again," Derek said, "He is an Alpha's son and maybe it didn't bother him that another Alpha was arguing him. He could have also thought that he was being challenged and didn't want to look weak."

"He has more balls than you do," I muttered and took a sip of my coffee, as Hunter chuckled. "Why are we at the Alpha's house?" I asked.

"Your father wanted us all together like old times," she replied. "He also wants to get caught up on what's happened since we've been gone for almost a month and a half."

"This is going to be a very long day," Gavin said and I nodded. "Can we adults leave?" he asked and she shook her head.

"Your father said he wanted all of you guys here and that is the way it is going to be."

"Can we reschedule to tonight?" I asked and she nodded. "Fantastic."

"It's a good thing that you asked," she said and I looked at her confused. "I'm having coffee with Demetri's mother to apologize for last night.'

"It got that bad?" I asked and she nodded. "Great," I said and sighed and moved all my hair to my right shoulder.

"Don't let them see the mark!"  Ana said and I let my hair fall back into the orginal place.

"What was that?" Hunter asked looking at me.

"What?" I asked looking him in the eyes.

"That thing that was on your neck" he said and reached to pull my hair aside and I backed away.
