My Alpha Mate

Chapter 2

"Uh oh" Glade said and Trystan smiled.

"Busted" Logan said as Demetri and I turned around.

Gavin, Trent, Hunter and Keaton were standing there with Derek and Delilh right behind them.

"Hey," I said quietly then turned back to Demetri. "I'll be right back" I said and he nodded as I turned around and walked about nine feet away from him.

"So we heard that you guys snuck out," Gavin said and we all nodded.

After about two minutes of silence they all started lauging and hugging us. Hunter actually picked me up and spun me around

"Was he totally livid?" he asked after he set me down.

"Totally" I said smiling.

"You guys are driving him up the wall," Trent said and looked at all of us. "Especially you" he said and looked at me.

"What?" I asked, "Why me?"

Then they all looked pointedly at Demetri.

"Okay what does this have to do with Demetri?" I asked and they gave me are-you-stupid look. "I thought he was mad at me?"

"Kolton, be mad at you?" Keaton said and chuckled. "Please, you are his little princess he would never be mad at you. Like that one time when you painted on his four page essay when you were three and he acted like it never happened and re-wrote it. You're his baby sister and he wants to keep you out of trouble and he thinks that Demetri is getting you into trouble. He loves you to death and he just wants to make sure that you are safe and he trying his hardest but you are making a whole lot harder than he expected it to be."

"He wants to make sure that you are in safe hands," Hunter said and I sighed. "To him Demetri isn't that guy. He wants to make sure that Demetri deserves you. Him and dad know that no boy is going to be good enough for you and him and dad agree on that. Dad is the one who told him to make sure that you and Demetri stay as far away from each other. He knew that you two were going to be mates."

"How?" I asked and they all looked at Trent.

"Because when you two were thirteen that's when you guys acted totally different around each other," he said and I blushed thinking about that. "You weren't so out there and he didn't keep to himself. You guys switched places when ever you guys were around each other. Then when you were fifteen you guys were close and he didn't like that he was the Alpha's son and he knew that the Alpha's son were so controlling. So he thought he was going to be like that."

"But he was the total opposite," Gavin said and the others nodded. "He didn't like that his father was so controlling half the time. So he spoiled you to death and he still does. Don't you notice that Demetri doesn't like to spend money on himself and that he usually spends it on you. He will only spend money on himself if it's absolutely necessary."

"But he spent money on his car" I pointed out and they all nodded.

"But he bought you a car"  Trent pointed out and I nodded.

"A very expensive car" Gavin pointed out.

"He doesn't like that your not marked either" Keaton pointed out and we all turned to look at him. "What?" he asked.

"What does her not being marked have to do with this?" Trent asked.

"Can we go now?" Delilah asked gesturing to herself and Derek.

"Yes' Gavin said.

"You can go," Derek said and she looked at him like he was crazy. "But she's my twin sister" he said and I rolled my eyes.
