Harry's pov:

"I quite excited for him to come home." Darcy says, to my Mom as I prepare us all a cup of coffee.

"Well as long as you're happy, dear." My Mom responds, causing me to smile slightly.

My Mom hasn't ever taken to Luke, she doesn't think he's good enough for Darcy, then again in her eyes no one is good enough for her.

"So how about your tour, tell me about that." My mom says, very ethousiastically.

"Uh, it's 6 months long, and i'm going to places where kids and adults need help and inspiration. Basically i'm going in to give them hope, tell my story, and get them to have fun." Darcy replies, and I feel my eyes moistening at how selfless she's being.

"I admire you for doing this." Alice pipes up, raw emotion in her voice, too.

"Thanks, but it's not much." Darcy says, way down-playing it.

"Well, I'd better get going, I have to go see my mom tonight as well, seeing as tomorrow I spend the day with Luke, then i'm on the road. Dad, tell your band I will see them when I get a few days off at Christmas." Darcy adds, causing me to quit making her a glass of coffee.

"Okay." I reply, as I walk up and hug her tightly.

"Love you, Dad." She says, hugging me back.

"Love you too. Remember to text me nightly, so I know you're alright, and -" I say, but she cuts me off.

"Okay Dad, I will." She says, retreating from my hug.

"Bye Alice, By Grandma." She says, hugging each of them seperately.

Ever since she told me she was kidnapped, i've been a lot more cautious. Almost everytime she sees me, she has to reassure me that the Man who kidnapped her is behind bars.

"Bye!" She calls out again as she shuts the door.

I look out the window and see that she's already on the phone by the time she reaches her car, but being the good girl she is she doesn't start the vehicle until she hangs up.

"You must be so proud of her." My Mom pipes up, stopping me from looking out the window.

I turn to face my Mom, then I think carefully before I respond.

"I'm beyond proud of her, but there are always moments when I wonder if there were times I would have been even more proud of her." I say, causing both my wife, and my Mother to stare at me with looks of sympathy.

"Harry, you have to quit thinking like that, you can't change the past." Alice says at last, causing my Mom to nod along.

"I know I can't change the past, but I can't stop myself from wishing I could." I respond, as I set out their coffee's.

I set my coffee down, then I walk out of the room. Almost immediately after I walk out, I hear them begin a hushed conversation.

As I walk into the hallway, I glance at the Calander, and take note of the date. It's October 30th, and Darcy's tour starts November 1st.

I walk into my office, and right away a letter catches my attention; it's sitting on my desk, with only my name on it. I instantly open it, and I feel a smile hit my lips as I recodnize her handwritting.

Dad, I know I just left, and you're probably laughing at this

gesture (I was, as I wrote it), but I wanted to reminise the

last time we exchanged letters (Or rather you wrote me a

letter), it was January 3rd when I got it, and January 5th when

I read it. Honestly, at first I was going to throw it away, but

i'm quite happy I didn't, or we wouldn't stand where we do

today. I guess what i'm trying to say is thank you for sending

me a letter, and I wanted to send one back to you... I love you

Dad, and I will see you in just under 2 months. XOXO -Darcy.

I smile slightly, as I think about that letter. It's been almost 2 years since I sent that letter, yet it feels like it's only been days. I rememeber the thoughts, and the feelings that went into that letter.

Now though, everything has changed, and she is back in my family.

"Thinking about something?" Alice asks me, as she wraps her arm around me.

"Just this." I say, as I pass her the letter.

She reads it, and glances up at me, with damp eyes.

"I don't get it." She says, at last.

"What?" I ask, very confused with her reply.

"How easily everything has been since she came back to you." She says, causing me to freeze, shocked.

"I guess," I start, thoughtfully.

"I guess that she adds something to our lives that was missing before she came back." I finally respond, pulling her into my arms.

"What do you want for dinner?" She asks, as we stand here.

"Why don't we go out, unless you have something going and that's just one of those things you expect me to know me about?" I offer, causing her to chuckle in my arms.

"Lets go out." She says, finally pulling away.

"Lets go out." I echo after she walks away.

For some reason, though i'm not sure why, I feel on edge, and nervous, like something bad is going to happen...
