Darcy's pov:
"Luke!" I yell, as I run towards him.
"Darcy!" He yells back, dropping his bags and spinning me around.
"Hey." I whisper, as he sets me down and kisses me lightly.
"Hey." He whispers back, as he lets me go, and picks up his bags.
"How was your flight?" I ask, as he grabs my hand, and we begin the walk out of the airport.
"It was a flight, in your words it was kinda-good." He teases, and I laugh lightly as I swing our arms.
"So what's the plan until you leave?" He wonders, as he throws his bag into the back seat of my truck, and he jumps into the passengers side.
"Sleep tonight, after dinner, then spend all day tomorrow just doing whatever with you." I tell him, and he grins as he grabs my hand and I drive home.

"I wish you didn't have to go." Luke sighs, as I throw my bag into my truck, and I sigh as I turn to him.
"That's how I feel every time you go." I say, and for a split second he looks guilty.
"You'll just have to come see me, just like I always do for you - once your tour is over of course." I add on, instantly wanting him to be happy again.
"Yeah. I guess." He hesitantly agrees, and I laugh lightly.
"I have to go, or i'm going to miss my flight." I glance at the clock, and he nods a little.
"I love you." He says as he kisses me.
"I love you too, so so much." I reply, as I hesitantly pull away, and jump into my truck.
He waves the whole time I walk away, and then I watch as he walks into the house.
I quickly arrive at the airport, and I get onto my flight without any issues. I listen to the long speech on safety, then I put my headphones in my ears and fall asleep to my Husband's voice.

"Are you sure this looks alright?" I ask again, and my stylist just nods.
"You look great. Very casual." She confirms, and I grin, as she walks out.
Today i'm a week into my tour, and I teach a class. Just as I finish the zipper on my boot, my phone rings. I pick it up, and quickly frown as it pops up unknown number.
"Hello?" I ask, and I hear a sigh.
"Mrs. Hemmings?" She asks, and I frown as I try to figure out who it is.
"Yes?" I ask, and she sighs again.
"I'm sorry, you'd better hurry. It doesn't look good." She says, and I raise an eyebrow.
"What doesn't look good?" I ask, and stays silent for a moment.
"Luke Hemmings just got into a head on collision, we think he was on his way home. He had just landed, and we assume it was a surprise for you, because we found a bottle and flowers in the wreck." She explains, and I feel myself go numb.
"What hospital is he at? Is he okay? What are his injuries?" I panic, and she answers the first question, then sighs.
"He's alive, okay is too good to hope for at this point. I recommend getting here right away." Is all she says, as she hangs up.
I stand where I am for a minute, then it clicks in. I grab my phone, and I run out of my room.
"Darcy! Where are you going?" My manager calls, as I run down the hallway.
"Family emergency!" I yell as I run passed, ignoring everyone.
I jump in my car and it clicks. I need to call her.
"Hello?" She answers, and I let out a shaky breath.
"Hey." I choke out, as tears cloud my vision.
"Darcy love!"She calls and through my tears I start my truck.
"Luke has been in a bad accident. You need to get here." I say, and she takes a deep breath.
"On my way." She replies, and she hangs up.
He needs me now, and I might lose him.
I floor my truck, and start the drive back to my home town.
