Jennifer Jareau watched a lot of things.
Not just TV shows, (although she was a sucker for binge-watching Law and order SVU), but she enjoyed observing the simpler things in life. Like the way rain slides off in large droplets, off the maple trees in her yard, lazily splashing onto the heads of strangers; to the way her ceiling fan rotates at 3am.
JJ also enjoyed watching people , and the habits that make them unique. For example, Reid always has to twirl his pencil 35 times exactly when stuck on paperwork, or the way Garcia dances her way around the BAU, when she believes no one is looking .
However , JJ's favorite person to watch will always be Emily Prentiss.
