"Why does it have to be me again? I thought everything is okay." The woman stared at her house crying while shaking. She looked at their house and let out a shaky sigh. She's holding the envelope on her hands tightly.
She didn't know what to do. She wanted to live her life longer but seems the fate wanted to shorten her life. She still wanted to live her life with her beloved husband. She wanted to spend the rest of her lives with him.
Mahigpit niyang hawak ang papel habang hawak-hawak ang bag. She's crying for hours after she left the hospital. Hindi niya inaasahan ang sinabi ng Doktor. "Why does it have to be me?" She whispered at herself.
Palagi niyang iniisip noon kung bakit sa kanya nangyari ito. She thought, her heart is okay.
She thought, she's already okay. But, no... she's not. Nanghihina siyang pumasok sa bahay nila. She looked around.
Katahimikan ang sumalubong sa kanya. There's no one welcome her. Kahungkagan ang naramdaman niya nang makitang ni isang katulong ay wala siyang nakita.
Pinahiran niya ang kanyang mga luha bago napagdesisyonang umakyat sa silid upang puntahan ang asawa. She saw no one at the Master's bedroom.
She hold the paper tightly and went to the office where she knew that her husband is there.
She's in front of her husband's office. She felt unwell knocking on the door. Nang buksan ang pintuan ay agad na bumungad sa kanya ang asawa na madilim ang mukha.
"Get out! Out of my house you whore! Out!" Sigaw nito sa kanya. The woman is confused. "W -What are you saying, hubby?" She said stuttering. Akmang lalapit na siya nang ang asawa na mismo ang lumapit sa kanya.
"As I have said! Get out! Sign this and leave my house, gold digger slut!" Dinuldulan nito sa kanya ang divorce paper. The woman's heart shuttered with pain.
Nanibugho ang babae, hindi niya alam kung ano ang pinagsasabi ng asawa pero alam niyang seryoso ito.
"Hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga pinagsasabi mo o kung anong ginawa ko." The woman said. Tears are starting to fall into her eyes again. Hindi man lang pinansin ng lalaki na namamaga ang kanyang mga mata at ngayon muli na naman siyang umiiyak.
The man scoffed and gritted his teeth. Tumingin pa ito nang walang emosyon sa kanya. Sinubukan niyang hawakan ang lalaki ngunit tinabig nito ang kamay niya at marahas na hinila ang buhok niya.
She was shocked when a slapped landed on her pale face. Napaigik at napasinghap ang babae dahil sa gulat at sakit.
"I won't believe in your dramas again whore, signed this and the hell out if my house and my life! I regret marrying someone like you!" Nabitawan ng babaeang hawak-hawak na envelope.
The man dragged her at the office table and forced her to sign the divorce paper. The woman who didn't knew what's happening. She's hurt. Mas doble ang nararamdaman niyang sakit kaysa sa nalaman niya.
Her pain was thrice the pain she felt knowing she's can't leave longer and the man she loved broke her defected heart. Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ng baba at bigla din itong bumagal.
She sighed and tried to stable her breathe. Tumaas ang tensyon sa katawan ng babae nang makita ang pirma niya sa papel. Her whole world ruined. The man she loves broke his promises and her world. The man takes the paper with him.
Bago pa lumabas ito ay nag-iwan pa ito ng mga masasakit na salita. "Don't take anything from here, it is all mine. You have done enough damage at my life and my pride! Get out of here and don't ever come back!" The door was slammed, the man was nowhere in sight.
Natulala ang babae at napaluhod. Nakita niya kung anong emosyon ang nasa mga mata ng asawa -dating asawa. She saw his coldness. She saw he doesn't care. Hindi niya kaya ang bagay na ito.
Napahawak siya sa kanyang dibdib at napalunok. She knew what's happening to her. "H –Hubby..." She called him. Kahit lakasan niya pa ang boses niya ay hindi na siya babalikan ng lalaki.
Tinalikuran na siya nito gaya ng pagtalikod nito sa tiwalang ibinigay niya at sa mga pangakong binitiwan nito.
Hindi lang ang mga mata niya ang umiiyak maging ang puso niya ay lumuluha ng dugo dahil sa sakit.
She realized the man won't come back. She tried to stand-up. She tried to do it for herself. She crawled while she gets out of the house.
Hindi na niya kaya, kinakapos na siya ng hininga.
Napalunok pa ang babae habang pinagmasdan ang bahay na sana ay siyang bubuo sa mga pangarap niya.
She pulled her hair as she was out of her home -old home.
Her eyesight was dim. Wala siyang makita dahil lahat ng iyon ay umiikot sa paningin niya.
"Why? Why did you do this to me?" She whispered as the pain was unbearable. Lahat ng bagay na pinagdaanan nila ay balewala lang sa lalaki.
Mahal na mahal niya ang asawa na kahit anuman ang nararamdaman niya ay binalewala niya.
Those memories were all worthless now for the man but for the woman. Those are her treasure ones.
Dali-dali niyang kinuha sa bulsa ang cellphone at tinawagan ang kaisa-isang taong alam niyang hindi mangingiming gawin ang lahat para sakanya.
"Kuya, fetched me here. I can't take this anymore. I can't take the pain anymore."
