Dean's POV

"Dean, that's him." Sam whines, "He's the one who's been harassing me, he stole my work my first day and now he won't leave me alone!" He points at a boy with short honey colored hair.
"I'll take care of it Sammy, I promise!" I sigh.
"I don't care what you do just make him stop, please!" Sam sighs, "And don't tell me what you're planning I want no part in it." He walks away, towards the house. I go the opposite direction, towards the boy.
"Are you Gabriel?" I ask a little upset, most would say I'm under exaggerating how upset I really am.
"Ye-yeah, what'd I do?" Oddly enough he doesn't seem too surprised to be acused of doing something, his eyes devoid of all emotion.
"Harass my brother, Sam. He's very upset, and done with it. I'm just doing my very best to make sure he's happy and healthy; it's kinda my job," my voice a low growl.
"I-I'm s-sorry."
I quickly turn around and throw a punch, leaving him no time to dodge it, "Leave him the fuck alone!" I growl lowly. I punch him several more times as fast as I possible can, before he can get a single word in edge wise. He probably couldn't process what was going on.
I hear his usually soft voice loud and clear, it rings in my ears, echoing, it's Cas' sweet voice, "Dean, please stop!" He sounds sad and clearly annoyed.
"Why Cas? He's the one who's been harrasing my baby brother!"
"Dean, Gabriel is my big brother!" He looks away hurt shining through his beautiful bright blue eyes, the tears making them shine an even brighter blue.
"What? You don't even look alike!"
"Well, we're half brothers. We have the same father." Cas speaks softly.
"I'm sorry. Sammy has been complaining about this, Gabriel kid for at least a week now, and I'm done. He just wants him to stop, I dealt with it the only way I know how," I explain some might say rather rudely but I was only trying to explain it quickly.
"Dean, that was uncalled for he didn't even fight back."
"I may have over reacted..."
"May have Dean? There is no maybe, you did." Cas interupts rendering me speechless. He's never like this, he's usually polite and listens to me I really fucked up this time. I guess family matters makes us all feel a little differently.
"C-Cas, I-I'm sorry!"
"Save it Dean! I don't want to talk about it! I don't want to hear your lame excuses!" He's yelling, I've actually never really heard him yell and it really hurts me. I quickly wipe my tears away trying to make it seem like I'm not crying, cause I don't cry; I'm a tough, manly man.
"Cas, I know I fucked up but don't hate me! I'm trying to be a better person I know I went to far, forgive me Castiel." I plead, my eyes near tears. "Please, please Cas!" I'm not one to beg, but I can't help but beg.
He glares at me, "How can I Dean? That was my brother, Dean!"
"I know Cas, but I was standing up for my brother!"
Gabriel stands up, he looks like he's about to fall over, soon he regains his balence. "I'm so sorry for any grief I've caused you and Sam, Dean. You see I was only trying to win his affection and I guess, I went about it the wrong way, I never thought it would end up this way." He sighs quickly wiping away some tears along with his blood. "Castiel, brother I deserved it so don't you dare be mad at Dean. I didn't fight back because I knew I fucking deserved it."
"Wait, you like Sammy? That explains the cards and romantic letters. But he always thought you were playing this big elaborate joke on him, and honestly I don't blame him, the way he described you you didn't fit the type. It was really tough on him, seeing all those things after what happened with Jessica, he blamed himself. It broke me seeing him so hollow and empty, but you seemed to make it both better and worse, if that's even possible."
"I heard about that but I still want to win him over, but I still tried so hard. Honestly him sending you over to deal with me wasn't that bad," he chuckled sadly, "I've had worse, from my birth mother." Gabriel smiles saddly, "But, Dean I have an idea that actually might work? But it won't work without you guys helping me."
"What's that?"
"A party that Castiel throws, I mean who can say no to him just look at his bright blue eyes." He smirks playfully and laughs, "I think it'll work. I mean we could also try wounding me and having the party be a backup plan."
"He won't fall for that routine, you getting hurt he'll just brush it off." It's an occupational hazard.
"That's why we make it not be an act, you could break my arm."
"I am not going to break your arm! Cause he simply will not go with it."
"Fine, let's go with the party plan, even though it sounds stupid. You ready for this Cassie all you have to do is invite Sam and Dean I'll handle the other four."
"And who would they be?" Cas asks slightly annoyed that he's being roped into this.
"Lisa Brayden, Benny Lafitte, Crowly Sheppard, and Meg Masters. You know my closest friends, some of which I think Dean could be good friends with, if he wanted too. I mean I can change the invite list there's someone else I could invite."
"You better let Lucifer and Balthzar know what's going on I'd hate for them to show up without knowing and throw a fit and go tell dad on us."
"Oh they'll know it isn't a party its just the eight of us being stupid, or we could invite them as well."
"Right, I'll leave you to being stupid."
"Hey!" He smiles with a laugh. "I'm not that stupid." I smile too.
"Let's go plan this stupid party so Cas and I can invite your little crush." I say with a slight laugh. "Again, I'm really sorry about your face," my voice quickly changes to a more serious tone.
"Its fine, I think you broke my nose but that's fine. Like I said, Dean, I honestly deserved it."
"No, you didn't. I flew off the handle bars but I get like that whenever Sammy is involved, it's always just been the two of us. I mean our father's not home much anymore, but he's never really been close to Sam." My eyes look down, "I guess I'm just over protective over him, he's my little brother I would die for him in a heart beat."
"That's good. Dean, I fogive you. I mean how bad would it have been if my little brother didn't step in."
"I probably would've done a lot more damage. But I don't know, Cas came in the nick of time."
"I'm not glad he did." He looks down sorrowfully.
"Gabe..."
"Don't say anything Dean I actually don't care," he interupts my third appology of the day. "I'm fine and it doesn't hurt that bad." He shrugs walking off.
I shrug walking off towards Cas, I reach my hand out and touch his, he violently yanks his hand away from mine. "Cas, are you mad at me?" I ask softly.
"Am I mad at you? Yes I am," he says with a dramatic sigh.
"What do I need to do Angel?"
"A-Angel?" He stutters clearly confused by the nickname.
"Yeah, Angel. Do you not like it?"
"N-no its not that, I-I love it. I'm just not used to it, you've never called me it before."
"Well, what do I need to do to make you happy with me again, Angel?"
"Just shut up." He grabs the collar of my shirt and kisses me. "I love you, you know that right Dean?"
I kiss him back without a moment's thought, I hum against his lips, I wrap my arms awkwardly around his waist and pull him close. I pull away gasping for breath, "I'll take that as you're no longer mad at me."
"Maybe," he says with the widest smile.
I chuckle, "Lets go plan the party of the century."
