Lud, chance, vic, fam, Steve and I all sat in a booth of this oldish looking diner, thinking about what our next move would be. I was still pretty worn out from the show but the guys were set on partying the night -or what was left of it- away.
"Aight, how bout we go to Jhenes place or something? She and Sean still throwing that after show party right?"
My stomach turned as Chance mentioned Jhenes name. No hard feelings but still, knowing that she had a new man still wasnt the most pleasant thing for me to hear considering our past and all...
I shook my head. "Nah, probabaly mad people there, not really in the mood for all that. How about we just go to mine and smoke or sum?"
Vic kissed his teeth before slanting his eyes in annoyance. "We always chilling somewhere and smoking like let's do something else for once, shit."
Chance agreed and they continued to discuss the plans for the night.
Since I knew that my objecting would be fruitless, I zoned out and gazed out of the window. The streets were packed with drunk kids coming from clubs or wherever wobbling past the diner window. Typical friday night scenery...
"Aye!" Vic suddenly called, his voice shaking me out of my empty thoughts, making me look at him. He got out of his seat as he looked past my seat row. I turned around to see who he was looking at. "Aye Nay." Vic called again, pointing at 2 girls standing by the entrance.
One of the girls, a tallsih south Asian, probably indian, chick with long black hair hanging out of her messy ponytail and a pine green lumberjack shirt on, turned around. Her face imidiatley lit up when she saw vic "Vic!" She called.
Chance glared at me, his face expressing confusion.
I shrugged, signaling him that I too had no idea who they were.
Probably one of Vic's 'homegirls'. Yeah right, homegirls my ass. I exhaled at the thought of the countless times vic introduced some randoms to us, claiming they were some long lost friends when in actuality they were just groupies he wanted to reconnect with.I looked back at the girls. The other one, a also rather tall, black girl just stood beside the indian one, her eyes glued to her phone as her long fingers furiously tapped against the screen. She had a large, no huge, cream sweater on which basically swallowed her entire body up, like a big poofy dress. The upper part of her short black hair was up in a messy bun, a few strands hanging down her face which I couldn't properly see due to the fact that her head was hanging down.
The girl in the pine green shirt grabbed her arm and dragged her to our table. "Oh it actually is vic!" She said, sounding way too exited and very british.
Vic finagled his way out of the boot, walked up to the girls and hugged pine green shirt. "Yo how's it been?" He muttured in his cool chill voice as she put her arms around his waist.
"Haven't seen you in ages." She spoke, breaking the hug off as vic went over to hug sweater girl.
"You're just gonna ignore me like that?" Vic joked, grabbing the sweater girls arm.
The girl chuckled before quickly looking up and hugging him as they do in France. You know the hole, 2 cheek kiss thing. "Hey." She said with a smile before looking back at her phone that continued to buzz.
Vic shot the other girl a questioning look to which she just rolled her eyes. "Boy drama."
Vic grinned and snatched the phone out of sweater girls hand to which she exclaimed an angry "Hey!"
Vic nonchalantly put his arms over both of the girls shoulders as he turned them towards the group. "You'll get it back in a second, chill out. Aight guys, this is Neely, this is Iman, Iman, Neely these are lud, chance, Steve, Don and Fam."
