A week later
Imans Pov
I looked down at the checkered boxershorts covering my thighs and the white pro era tee on my upper body. Good enough, I thought before grabbing my shades, keys and wallet, pulling a black baseball cap over my my messy hair and then lastly leaving my apartment.-
The coffee shop was surprisingly full for this time if the morning. Well thinking about it 10:30 wasn't tgat early, which probably explained the judgemental looks I got for my sluggish outfit but I didn't mind. I was comfortable and that was all that really mattered, right?
Don's pov
Was that her? It did kinda seem like it judging by her body... but would she actually go out in boxers but then again why wouldn't she? Maybe she's hungover over or something... just say hi to her and get over it. If it's her, cool, if it's not her that's cool too. I slowly tapped the shoulder of the lady in front of me.
"Hey"
She turned around, her eyes we're covered by big, black shades, but I knew that she mustered me for a quick second before a smile appeared on her face. "Hey" Iman greeted, her voice sounding a bit tired but also quite thrilled. She rose her tea cup in the air as a sign of salutation. "Morning."
"Morning... nice boxers." I said tilting my head towards her checkered boxers which happened to be the same boxers peeking out of my marine shorts... well not the exact same ones but you get the picture. Iman noticed, chuckled and thanked me. "Target never disappoints."
"So where are you headed to?" She asked as we made our way towards the desk so I could finally get my coffee.
"Home, you?"
She shrugged. "I think I'm gonna go for a little walk... yeah."
"Yeah it is pretty nice out..." I said, opening the door for her.
"Wanna join?" She asked first looking at the baby blue sky, then at me.
I pursed my lips, put my sunglasses on as I shot her a friendly smile. "Why not."
-
"So you do this often?" I asked after a few minuets spent silently walking by each other.
"What?" She asked, looking up from the long paper cup.
"Go on strolls in your boxers?" I elaborated, resulting in her to laugh.
"Yeah, pretty often to be honest. But lately I've been spending my time ulteriorly... sleeping and studying."
"You're in college?"
"Online classes." She explained. "Works out better with the modeling stuff."
"Cool..." eventhough I wanted to know what she was majoring in, I didn't really want to bother her with school related stuff. I hated that bavk then so why do it to someone else, right? "So how's this whole modeling thing?"
She shrugged and hid her hand in one of the pockets of her shorts. "Meh."
"Meh?" I repeated, glancing over to her.
She pulled a face, as if she was thinking about another word to associate with my question. "Meh."
"Meh." I said, finalising her answer in laughter which she shortly joined in.
"I dunno how to explain it. It's cool but meh... not a big fan of the whole beauty standard thing but y'know." She took her cap off, ruffled through her hair and put it back on only this time backward. "So being a rapper... how's that?"
