Michael

Ashton put his head in his hands and cried. Luke was crying, coughing and sniffling. Calum groaned and shifted his body.

I flung my hands over my ears, screaming. "Enough, enough! I can't take it anymore! You are all driving me crazy! I can't stand another minute with these bastards!" I yelled into the camera, obviously hurting Luke's, Calum's and especially Ashton's feelings. I didn't care, however.

I ran back to the door and yanked on the handle, pushing and pulling, banging on the door.

Suddenly it was flown open and I fell to the ground, yelping in pain as my leg twisted painfully and my ass hit the hard floor.

All sounds stopped, crying and screaming ceased.

Liam stood in the dim light, basking in all his glory. He looked like a giant the way her stood above me. I was immensely terrified.

"You fuckers!" He shouted. He stormed over to Luke and grabbed his arm, pushing him to the ground. He climbed over the younger boy and smacked him in the face. I got up and jumped onto Liam's back, who rolled over and away from Luke. We wrestled on the floor for a minute; his fists tried to make contact with my head, chest and gut. I managed to flip us around when one of Liam's arms flailed out awkwardly and I caught it. He pushed me off of him and stood up.

I yelled loudly and charged at Liam, jumping onto his back and tried to knock him down once more, but instead he only stumbled slightly. I flung my arms around his neck, tightening them around his head. He was shouting angrily, like an animal in distress. He dug his fingers into my forearm and grabbed my wrists. All of sudden, he pulled my arms away from him, and flung me off his body. I was flying through the air, seeing red, white, swirls, and finally my body hit the ground. I felt a pain in my head, but it was no longer there as black consumed my eyes and my body became still.

One Week Later

*****

I woke up to the feeling of cold water running across my forehead. I sat up quickly and scooted away from the blurry figure in front of me, regretting my actions and collapsing back down again. I groaned, coming to again, but slowly. My head ached and I felt as though my body could not move whatsoever. I racked my brain for memories of some previous repercussions, yet I could not remember. I layed in the same spot for what seemed liked an hour before my vision unblurred and I could see properly.

I remembered where I was: the dark, cold and scary room of the kidnappers' house. Memories soon began to flow into my brain.

It was unusually quiet in the room. Luke wasn't coughing and nobody was crying. I wondered if my accident caused me to lose my hearing. My body was still stiff, but I felt I had enough muscle to lift my arm and touch my forehead where the cold water had run. I was burning with a fever even though the rest of my body was freezing. I trailed up to the top of my head and found a cloth bandage that circumferenced my head. My head was laying on a pillow that had not been there in the past weeks.

My mouth felt dry, but I opened it to say, "Ash-" I coughed and my head pounded when I did so. I squeezed my eyes shut in pain. I heard the crinkle of plastic and opened my mouth to let Ashton pour the water into it.

"Wh-what happen-?"

Ashton looked tearful as he began to tell me the story. "You hit the ground pretty hard, a-and-"

"And what, Ashton?"

"You-you lost a lot of blood a-and-"

"Ashton!" I shouted.

"Your head split open on the cement. You've been comatose for a week."

I nearly passed out again at the surprise. "Li-Liam did this to me?"

"Well, you initiated the fight."

I groaned. "Where's Luke, and Calum?"

"They're out in the other room." I sat up quickly and again, regretted it. "Nothing is happening to them," Ashton reassured. "In the past week we've all behaved enough for them to let us go out there under supervision of Louis. It is warmer out there then in here, so we've spent a good amount of time out there."

"C-can I go out there?"

"We should wait until you can sit up by yourself without falling back again," Ashton smirked.

"I'm fine, here, help me up."

Ashton helped me sit up against the wall.

"The good news is that the bleeding really slowed down about four days ago. You've lost a whole lot of blood, Michael. To tell you the truth, I'm really surprised you're still alive. Turns out both Niall and Harry had some medical training."

"You mean, they helped me? They saved me?" I asked incredulously.

"And quite frantically, I might add. It was like they wanted to keep you alive."

"No, they needed to keep me alive."

"At least you are alive. I'll go tell Louis you're awake," Ashton said as he stood and left the room.

In this situation, I'd rather be dead.
