A team of shinobi were jumping from tree to tree, they were on their way back to their village having completed a C-rank mission turned B-rank and were tired, thankfully there was no casualties except for the fact that they were very low on chakra.

"Okay, let's stop for a little while to take a break." Two of them dropped thankfully onto the ground, one didn't even look tired and the other one slowly sat down, not wanting to look weak for possible enemies that could be lurking around the area.

"Sensei, how come you're not tired?" The boy with goggles, who was panting, asked.

"Baka, he's a jōnin and well you're just weak." All of a sudden the panting boy found some energy to try and tackle the calm, disinterested, silver haired boy who had insulted him. The silver haired boy merely stepped aside causing the enraged boy to roll into a conveniently placed tree.

"Okay guys, that's enou..."*BOOM* The team went silent and tense preparing for an enemy threat.

"Sensei?" All three turned their attention to their sensei, silently asking what their orders are.

In response he sent a message using simple hand signals to say that they were going to investigate, two of them nodded in understanding while the other one had a confused look and was about to ask (very loudly) what they said when his more calmer teammate slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Quiet baka there might be enemies." He was about to start shouting at the boy to not call him an idiot before he noticed his sensei's pointed look so he reluctantly nodded.

Then the group went to investigate what made the noise. 'We're inside the fire country, for an enemy to penetrate this far in, they would have to be extremely skilled... or incredibly lucky. Whatever the case we have to find out who it is.' The blonde haired man thought.

The group stopped just before the huge crater, the loudest of the group, for once quiet and in awe of how large the crater is and the path of destruction it left, he audibly gulped and felt a bead of sweat roll down his face. If someone (or some people) was the cause of this then it was way out of his league.

"Sensei, look there's people down there!" The girl of the group said.

The group surrounded the two kids that were laying inside the crater. The blonde boy had no scratches and the only thing that showed that he did fall was the fact that his clothes were a bit ragged and torn, while the red haired girl, who was hugging the blonde protectively, had a few scratches, that were slowly healing, and her clothes were like her brother's. Other then that they had a peaceful look on their faces, as if they were sleeping.

The group slowly went closer and when they were standing right above them, the redhead opened her eyes.

Everyone just stared at each other for awhile, no one moved nor spoke.

"Um, Minato-sensei, did you ever had kids? because, they kind of look a lot like you."

The sentence broke the silent staring contest and chaos started.

Aimi shook her brother desperately like her life depended on it until he finally woke up. When he saw that they weren't alone, he jumped up and tried to runaway only to trip over his own two feet.

"Stupid short legs." Naruto mumbled under his breath with a few choice words, he tried to get back up again but was picked up by the remainders of his tattered shirt and was staring into never-ending blue eyes much like his sister's and his own.

"H-Hey! Put m-my brother down!" The redhead demanded even though it sounded more like a plead, but it fell to deaf ears.

"And where do you think you're going?" Minato asked, watching partly amused when all of the boy's attempts to get free failed.

He was curious about the boy that strangely looked like him. It's true that although blonde hair and blue eyes is rare it wasn't altogether that strange but there was something about this particular boy that drew his attention, the redhead also.

When they had first been staring into the girl's eyes he was surprised at the amount of emotions they flashed through. Firstly confusion which wasn't surprising but then they flashed through anger, realisation, sadness and lastly happiness before they were carefully locked away leaving a very confused Minato, the same thing happened to the blonde haired boy.
