~third person POV~

Giggles resonated within the walls of the Uzumaki-Namikaze household as the twins worked on their new prank. Minato and the twins had arrived at the house to tell Kushina of the news only to realize she was not yet home. Now the twins had the perfect idea on how to prank their mother. This could go two ways. Either she laughed it off or they would be in deep trouble. On the bright side, Aimi had a plan in case it was the latter. Yes, part of it did include running.

The young redhead hummed as she began adding a small amount of itching powder into her mom's drawer, adjusting the clothes and moving them so it would spread. She wanted to prank the woman, not torture her own mother. After she finished, she left the room and headed to the bathroom to join her brother. The two giggled and grinned as they uncapped the shampoo bottle.

"What are you two up to now?" Minato's playfully tired voice made the twins jump before they slowly looked up at their father who had his hands on his hips. Aimi and Naruto shared looks and nodded in agreement.

"Wanna help?" The little girl asked innocently and extended the hair dye to their father. The man eyed the bottle and sighed making the twins grin.

~time skip~

Kushina Uzumaki entered the household and glanced around, slightly confused on the whereabouts of her family. Heading into the kitchen, she placed the grocery bags on the table and headed into the hallway.

"Is anyone home? Min'na?" The red haired woman sighed and headed off to take a quick shower before unloading the groceries.

Hearing the front door open, the woman glanced up from where she was putting away the groceries.

"Kaa-chan?" Aimi's voice called out. The twins had convinced their father to take them out for a walk before their mother arrived so it wouldn't be too suspicious.

"I'm in the kitchen!" The woman replied while beginning to scratch her arm.

The kunoichi scratched her arm as she was putting the last of the groceries in their rightful place, slightly confused at the itching that began to take place.

"Are you alright, mama?" The younger redhead asked in concern as she watched her mother. A part of her began regretting adding the itching powder, but that thought was shoved to the back of her mind as the woman took off the towel on her hair.

"I'm okay, Ai-chan." The woman smiled at her daughter.

Minato coughed as the twins pressed their lips together to keep from laughing, the action making the woman suspicious.

"What?" The kunoichi's eyes narrowed before she took notice of her reflection on the toaster. Her now green hair slowly began raising up as her hand reached for the frying pan on the stove. "Who was it?"

Everyone gulped and paled at the sight in front of them before booking it out of there, with the red hot habanero hot on their heels.
