The team hurried back to Konoha once again taking to the trees. Minato was the one picked to carry both Naruto and Aimi since he was the least tired. Naruto was on his back while Aimi was in his arms. The continued motion eventually lulled them to sleep and the kyuubi pulled them to their mindscape.

"So, what are we going to do?" Naruto asked.

"Change the past, of course." was his sister's reply.

"It's easier said then done." The kyuubi interfered.

"But I'm sure we can do it." Aimi said with confidence. "If we change what happened here, Obito won't 'die' and neither will mom and dad in the future."

"But how are we going to do it?" Naruto asked.

"Kits we don't have much time, it's almost time for you two to wake up." Kurama informed and both of the twins cursed at the news before they felt their bodies being woken up. "Aimi, make sure that Naruto doesn't do anything to stupid."

~Out of the mindscape~

"Hey, guys we're here." They rubbed the sleepiness from their eyes and Aimi gave a slow nod before the words registered, they felt adrenaline run through their veins and the sleepiness was forgotten.

They quickly jumped of Minato's back, and arms, and started to literally bounce around. Minato laughed.

"Slow down guys it's almost like you haven't seen a village before." Minato said to the children, who quickly stopped bouncing around, their hair covered their eyes so Minato couldn't see their expressions but he sensed the somber mood that had taken over the little boy and girl, and felt regret burn in his heart.

When Minato had said that, he reminded them of the last time they had seen their village, the image that was always burned into the back of their minds the fire, smoke and bloodshed. The utter despair at seeing their home destroyed again was mind shattering and this time it couldn't be rebuilt for there was no one left to rebuild it.

"Kits."

Kurama's voice shook them out of their depressed state and reminded them that they had a second chance... a chance to fix everything.
