Aimi and Naruto were standing in the Hokage's office, Aimi had her head down as she kept her gaze away from everyone. The Hokage sighed and Aimi lifted her head a little.
"Hokage-sama, Naruto and I would like to talk to you. Alone." Aimi whispered, the Hokage nodded and dismissed team Minato along with the hidden ANBU. When they were out of the office, Aimi sighed softly before speaking again. "Hokage-sama... my brother and I are not from this timeline.... We are from the future and we are here to prevent the Fourth Great Ninja War."
"...explain..."
After he said that, Aimi and Naruto proceed to explain the story to the bewildered Hokage.
"So Konoha was destroyed by this person named Tobi?" Sarutobi asked when they finished, the twins nodded.
"Yeah..." Aimi said.
"I'm curious, why come back to this time?"
"The mission to the Kannabi Bridge. During that mission, an event occurred that pretty much is the reason why Konoha was in its ruins in the future. That's why I sneaked out of the village and went to assist team Minato." Aimi explained.
The Sandaime nodded. "And you can't tell me anymore of this?"
They both shook their heads.
"No. We already revealed to much about the future." Aimi was the one who spoke.
Sarutobi sighed, feeling his age catch up to him. "I understand. Can you at least tell me your full names?"
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, dattebayo!"
"And I'm Aimi Uzumaki, dattebane!"
"Not Namikaze?" The Hokage questioned, genuinely curious. "Because you two look just like him."
"That's because he's our dad. We grew up with our mom's surname." Naruto answered.
Sarutobi chuckled. "Minato and Kushina, who would've thought?" He turned to the two time travelers before him. "I thank you for trusting me with this."
"We should be the ones to thank you for understanding, Hokage-sama." The twins said.
"Dismissed." He said and the twins started to make their way out of the office. Aimi stopped before turning to face the Hokage.
"I know what I said, but you can share this information with mommy and daddy if you'd like." She said before leaving after her brother.
The Third turned to face the village and looked out, lost in thoughts.
