Unleashing The Monster Part 1

I was being held by the Joker chained to the wall watching him hit and torture my brother I try to stop him but I can't then I smell all the blood and I go to Dick and bite him sucking all of his blood. And when I'm done with him I bite Bruce and my friends.

I sit up and scream. It was only a dream. I pulled my legs to my chest and hold them there. I forgot I was at the cave until the entire team is at my door. Dick put in the code to get in and he is the first one to me. He hugs me and says, "Was it the same nightmare again." "No, I didn't see our parents this time it was worse a lot worse D." Kaldur looked at me and said, "M'gann go in her mind and see what is going on." M'gann said, "I have never been able to get into her mind." All I could say was, "Nu voi lăsa monstrul mă controleze. Nu voi lăsa monstrul mă controleze." (I will not let the monster control me. I will not let the monster control me.) Dick looked at me and said, "Everyone out now." Dick sat me down and put his hand on my head and left. I was alone until I saw him come back and the computer announced Bruce coming in the cave. I got dressed and went outside in the darkness. The beach is always prettier at night. Kaldur came outside and said, "What was your dream about?" "Nothing it was about nothing." "You screamed." Bruce looked at me and said "You are going to the watchtower. If Miss. Martian could not get in your mind John will. Your brother will take you there in the morning as of now try to control it a little longer." I shook my head and he left. "You need to sleep Kaldur." "So do you Skylar." "I am not taking another chance of that besides I don't need as much sleep as all if you do. Go I'll still be here in the morning." He left and I went in. Dick sat in the living room with me talking about how to control it while everyone is asleep by three in the morning D fell asleep on the couch and I was thinking. If I could control the monster good enough I could get rid of it. At seven everyone is up and I am in my room staying away from people. Then Martian Man Hunter along with Batman is in the cave I go to them and say, "Are you going to try and..." "Not erase it but make you forget it hopefully." Bruce says. As soon as the Martian gets in my mind he go right out of it. He says, "How much have you been through to have so much pain little girl? All I saw was pain and misery only a few good things." Bruce said, "Can you make her forget it?" "No. I'm afraid I can not make her forget a fear like that. But I suggest she talks to Black Canary for hep." He left and I said, "So there is no way to make it stop like we thought." "Sky that dream means the monster is trying to get out and all most has succeeded. You need to stay away from everyone until you can control it but that can start after this mission." He calls everyone to the mission room and I keep a distance because Bruce is right I have wanted to bite team members more then usual recently. When he is done explaining we all are fighting Savage I am the first one out of there. I go to my room and get a knife.

I heard someone knock on the door but when I find out it's Dick I let him in and say, "Nu pot face acest lucru D. Este mai puternică și cu ziua mea vine asta e ziua în care are cea mai mare putere." (I can't do this D. It is getting stronger and with my birthday coming up that's the day it has the most power. You can take control. You are powerful enough to keep it on lock down. Remember who you are Sky. Dick, something is going to happen to make me want to bite one of you, and if I do... I don't think I can live with myself knowing I killed my brother or my friends. Dick, I need for this ruthless killer inside of me to go away so I can have a normal life, or something like a normal life. All I want is to not drink blood, let this anger go, and to not be scared I will eat my boyfriend, friends, or you. Skylar you won't do anything like you think I know you can control it. Even though you think you can't I know you can in fact you have shown me you are better at controlling your thirst than Jacob and Ricky. They could not go to school or be in the tent when we performed. You do know they even said out of all of us, you would be the strongest vampire. The youngest would be the strongest, I never believed them until now. So I will not take that knife from you to use it, you can control the monster inside you I believe in you Sky. Fine, but if I do start killing people on the team, kill me. I don't care if you can't do it you have to kill me. If you can't ask Artemis she will do it and take no mercy on me like you will.)

As we got to the building I was the first in to see Savage waiting on us like he was expecting it. "Skylar, you look like you have lost hope. Are you finally ready to do what your siblings did." "As if I told you I won't bite my friends or my brother." "Your fangs are out little girl and I know it's hard." 'Skylar, there is hunters coming behind.' 'Do you think I am not aware of that? But Savage wants me to take care of them. He knows as soon as I taste Blood it will be harder for me to control my self.' 'I got it them, Do you think you can get close enough to Savage to pin him.' 'Are you an idiot?' 'Good pin him and we will do the rest.' " Savage do you know what it's like to survive off of blood, to want to kill your family and friends just to satisfy a craving, or to cut yourself so you don't kill the people you love." "For smart girl I don't know where you are going with this." "Look Savage for your safety and my enjoyment you should run." I said as I came close to him. He realized what I meant and started to run. Wally said, "That's not what we meant." "Oh come on I can't have a little fun with the prey." I said running to Savage pinning him and handcuffing him. I brought him inside and saw them all fighting the hunters so went to grab one bite him and said,  "Anyone that does not run away now will end up like this guy." They looked at me and then I grabbed another one and did the same. "Whose next?" They ran and everyone stared at me. "What like you were doing anything to make them leave and I didn't bite Savage." "You have to control that better." Savage look at me and said, "You are almost like your oldest brothers, Skylar. They drove themselves crazy trying to control their wonder gifts they had to bite." "You are lying Jacob and Ricky would never..." "Skylar they did that's why you need to control it so you don't turn out like they did." "And you are telling me this now. Why not before when it was easier to control the thing." I walked to Savage and I picked him up to threw him across the room and ran outside. I was so close to biting my brother I couldn't stand it by the time the league go there I was already in front of the woods. When both Bruce and Dick  started to some towards me I said, "Don't come near me. I don't want to hurt you." I step backwards and then Bruce says, "Skylar you know you won't hurt us." "I can't control it anymore. My fangs are out and I won't bite family, so I need to stay away for a few days until I can control the monster again. Sorry, but good bye." I ran and ended up at my old tree house Ricky, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Johnathan built for me and Dick years ago.
