Bird's First Break Up Part 1

Skylar's POV

I cannot be I am back at the cave with my friends or, at least until I come through the zata tubes and see them all standing there. M'gann was the first one to try to hug me and get hurt doing it. "Sorry M'gann but I am not completely back to the way I was." "You have that right." "I can still hang you on the wall D no matter how bad your injury is." "Try it you will be called off when you do it besides Bat's should be here any minute from now." "Idiot." "Both of you stop. I'm wishing neither of you came back now." Wally said. "Why does it smell like someone else is here. Like..." "Hello kiddies." "Joker." "Miss. Grayson I didn't know the Justice Brats was watching you and your brother for old Bruce." Joker said looking at me. Harley came behind me then I said, "Ace attack." As I flipped over her. Ace was tearing Harley to shreds when Dick said, "That was the best money Bruce has ever spent." Joker looked at me and said, "No fair, you have a watch dog. Well I will have to grab you myself." right then the computer announced Batman coming into the cave and as Joker put a hand on me he said, "Let Miss. Grayson go Joker." "Why? You have her dog and big brother." He put a knife to my throat and I looked at it and slowly loosened his grip on it so I could get out of the way. Ace saw what I was doing and helped.it worked and Bruce cuffed both Joker and the bleeding Harley. "Skylar are you okay and did you get what I asked you to." "Lets see you mean his plans and almost dying yeah. By the way Dick is the next wacko's victim, not me. Here easiest thing since you giving me a whip."

As we suited up for a mission the first thing I do after I'm done is go to the training room and punch something. Why did he have to say that. I started to cry and Ace came to me along with Artemis. She said, "Kaldur just broke up with you and you hit something wow." As she hugs me I see my brother look at me and say, "What is going on what happened?" Artemis said, "Kaldur broke up with her." "Skylar are you okay." I wipe my eyes and shake my head. "I am going to kill him." "D don't say that and please don't do it. Everything will be fine just not the same ok." "Skylar he did what I want to know how to do, break you." "He is not the Joker or any villain. He is our friend." "Sky he hurt you." "D it is fine." We went towards the team and as they got in the bioship I got on my motorcycle and started to Joker's hide out. When we got there I looked into the window and saw Joker and Penguin talking. Kaldur said, 'We are going to split up. Robin, Blue Jay, and Artemis you three will go in from the top. Superboy, Miss. M, KF, and I will go in a window. No one will fight until given the plan.' 'Whatever Jay you coming.' I follow him and when we get to the top I cut a hole on top of the building and open it. As we go in I start recording what they are saying. 'There is more than just the Joker and the Penguin here I can smell a whole lot more.' I said. Kaldur told us, 'Blue can you make a distraction for the real team.' 'Don't talk to my sister that way.' 'Just because you broke her heart don't mean Jay will do what you want.' Artemis said. 'D and Arty it us fine I will do what he wants, he is our leader after all.' Dick grabbed my hand  and I said, 'I will be fine Robin let me go. Besides they will try to cage me and we both know you don't cage a bird.' I jumped down and said, "So is this where Gotham's nut bags are." "Blue Jay we haven't seen you in a while how's life?" Penguin said. "It could be better I know Batman has tried to put me in the Asylum again." "Join us little girl you would fit in better with us then you will with your team behind you." "Please let me play with her now." Joker said looking at me. "Do you want play Joker? Fine let's play." I got out my whips and he came towards me. He slices my arm but I get away. 'Robin a little help please.' He came down and got Joker tied up. "Do you want to know why I still refuse to join you. Because I will not betray my family. Artemis." She shot an arrow at him and I took what we needed for bats. Then all of Gotham's major criminals came out. 'We need to get Sky out of here.' 'You are no fun. But you are right.' As they came at us all I had to do was growl and they stepped away. As we were outside talking M'gann found out about me and Kaldur but doesn't like the way Artemis and Dick wants to handle it. We start to leave and head to the cave.

Once we are there we decide to have a movie marathon of I don't know of what. I will be drawing the hole time cso I don't care. Ace comes to me so I pet him. When Kaldur passes me he growls like he will bite him. As I walk into the living room everyone is looking at me and since I am close to crying I breathe an sit as far away as possible. When Superboy finally says, "Did Kaldur really break up with you?" "Which one of you told him?" "I did, since you won't let me do anything Superboy could do something about it. Skylar he made you cry like you are about to right now." I start crying then he came in the room. "What is going on?" "I thought you like Skylar." "I did until she bite her brother." "Is that it you made her cry and she only ever does that when she lost someone she loves." "All of you needs to grow up." "You hurt our little sister one of our two little birds." I stop crying and yelled, "Enough I told you not to do that Dick. You also sad you would not tell anyone either I hate to say this but you are the worst brother ever." I ran to my room and closed the door but I could hear Artemis say, "What did you do to make her that upset?" "I don't know." M'gann said, "There are several different emotions I was feeling off of her but it all led to sadness, mainly sadness and fear." Kaldur started to laugh, "Fear and sadness coming from her the angry beast." "You don't know her. She is always sad but fear does not fit with her. Artemis, Sky trust you better then me can you go talk to her?" "I'll call Babs. She can get Sky to talk better then I can." While she went to do that I started to make myself angry and forget why I'm sad. I hear someone came to my door and said, "Skylar can I come in." "Go away please I want to be alone." I hear them leave and I shut my eyes to fall asleep.
