I smelled dog and knew it was my brother. "Took you long enough. Did you bring the lighter?" he came up to me hand me the lighter and I lit the animal body. "It is safe to come out now the animal is on fire." Kaldur came out followed by the others. "Are you sure everything will be fine and this could permanently make us human." Wally said, "It could if you both are ready to give this up." "It's better then being declawed." "Or have my fangs pulled. But I'm staying like this a little longer." "Speak for yourself." "Dick think about it. If we wait and do it the clan meeting they can't boss us around and the worse they can do is attack us." "Good plan but humans are more fragile then Vamps." Kaldur said. "You guys are still going according to Batman. fine I will stay with the wolfs until tomorrow. But, I'm blaming you if I get declawed." "You are a big wuss." He came charging at me then he heard something. I sniffed the air and said, "Dick do you think that's who I think it is?" "I'm going wolf. We don't know what she will do with them." "Okay you are about to meet the only person who is both a vampire and wolf don't say or do anything. Stick around Conner he has the rarest blood so if she tries to bite she will go for him first. If she does go for one of you that means both Dick and I are either dead or close to death." Kaldur said, "You know I won't let that happen." Wally stepped forward and said, "We are not going to sit back and do nothing." "Kaldur, you can't protect me from someone that will eat you. I am not going to let you protect me this time, I am going to protect you." I pushed him back and Dick started to growl. When she saw us she said, "So the divided siblings have friends and lovers. Tell me Skylar how have not at least have bitten that Krptonian yet he's blood is still untouched? And Richard falling in love with a human Sky an Atlantian you both should be ashamed of your selves." "Madeline you are still full of your self. Leave. The way we live is none of your business." She came towards the team and Dick went towards her. "They are mortals." "They are our friends." I hit her and tore her arm off. "You are still part human until you make your choice." She took a gun out and shot Dick. I ran towards her and got her to the ground. "Kaldur get Dick and run all of you." Wally grabbed Dick and they ran but the rest stayed. She threw me off of her and then said, "Your family and friends are making you weak good bye Skylar. She pulled me up and almost had her teeth on my neck to bite me but Kaldur Hit her and knocked her out making me hit the ground. He picked me up and we went towards the cave with everyone that was left. Once we were there I saw Dick bleeding coming towards me as my vision started to blur. "Skylar, I'm sorry." Once I was put down he saw I had blood coming out of my arm. Then everything went black.

I woke up unable to move my arm but I could tell I was in the med bay. I hate being in here but when I here laughter coming from my brother I knew something had gone right. I tried to get up but Kaldur had his arm in the way. Dick was in the doorway and said, "Kaldur let her up she has to go to the clan meeting. Happy Birthday Skylar." "Don't Dick. What happened after I blacked out and why am I restrained to the bed." "Sky you had another..." "Again." I took my self out of the chains and went to change. Once I was done I went outside. You could practically hear the wolfs and cries of animals on their death bed. But something was different about this year. I saw Dick come out and he was with Wally and Kaldur. I walked to them and then one howl got my attention. It sounded like my fathers howl. I look at Dick and we start to run towards the howl. Once I am there I see something I thought I would never see. "Dad, is that you." Dick said getting closer. The man said, "Richard you have your mother's eyes. Is that my baby girl, my little Skylar. Skylar you look just like your mother." I looked at Dick and he said, "We need to get him back to the cave to see if it's really him, and if it is then do you know what that means." "Let's go make sure before we get our hopes up."

A couple of hours M'gann had tears in her eyes and said, "This man is your father." Dick hugged him but I said, "If you are our father then why have you not at least try to contact us or let us know you were looking for us." "You are so much like your mother. You want answers." "I am thirteen and the last memory I have of my family was five years ago. Dick is the only one left and if I don't get answers I am leaving and not come back until I do." "There is a big resemblance. Fine I was going to but I deiced you would do better in the human world then I realized that you went through your uncontrollable stage. I told myself I will show up on your birthday when you choose human or for you Vampire life." I walked away and as the sun went down I started towards the clan meeting with a vile of chemicals Wally gave me. I wish I could believe anyone who says I am your father. As I told the clans what my choice was and they came towards me I opened the vile and drank the substance. Then they all said, "You are human fully human." I walked out and then slowly walked to the cemetery to my parents and siblings graves. I saw Dick there and he said, "No more claws you." "No more fangs. I can finally eat and drink human food." I saw Kaldur come out behind a trees with a box and he said, "So did you know I was there." "I could see your jacket." He came to me and kissed me once we parted he gave me the box. "Skylar come on you know Bruce has a ball tonight." I walked back to the manor and went to my room and changed into a dress That was on my bed when I got to the manor.(The dress above) As I got done I walked down stairs and Bruce looked at me and said, "That dress fits I see I thought it was the wrong size. And Skylar I'm sorry about this. It was Barry's idea." We went in the ballroom and a lot of people jumped out and yelled "Surprise." I smile look at Bruce and said, "I am going to kill you later, and every Leaguer that helped." I walked away to a corner and as everyone was talking I got into the vents that went outside of the building. I went to the roof and sat there i heard Kaldur say, "I think the party is inside Skylar." "Kaldur I am not much of a party person. I would rather be somewhere quite, somewhere with just my friends, or to be on top of a building close to edge. Hey Kaldur." "Yeah Sky." "Do you want to meet my family. Or the real question do you want to go to the cemetery?" "Sure but how do we get down?" "Follow me." I walk to the zip-line and I say, "Years ago Alfred out this up for me to escape any party Bruce throws." He goes down then I go. Once we were done we went to the cemetery and stayed there until the sun came up. We walk through Gotham talking when we get to a coffee shop he went in and I said, "Bruce I am old enough to watch myself." "I thought you broke up with him." "We are doing this as friends. The Joker is in a hot air balloon again." As he came out of the shop it started to rain. He gave me his jacket and we walked back to the manor. I gave him back his jacket and he left. I closed the door and smiled. "That was the best birthday ever." "Skylar you were out really late." "I was at the cemetery with Kaldur." "With Kaldur." "It was better then that party would have been are you done questioning me now. I would like to go to sleep before noon." Alfred whispered, "Are you and him back together?" "You will never know." I walk up stairs and I see Artemis and Wally there in front of my door. "Not you guys two. What does it take to get some sleep around here." Artemis said, "You stayed out from 8:30 pm to 11:00 am Skylar and with Kaldur. He broke up with you." "We were spending time together as friends. now can I go to bed please." By now my voice is really horse but that's what I get talking to Kaldur all night. Wally said, "You didn't get hurt right." "Wally I'm fine now can I please go to bed with out anyone talking to me." They got out of my way and I changed and when to bed. I couldn't sleep though all I could think about was the conversation I had with him. When I did fall asleep it was for ten minutes because the house went on lock down. When I am lying there pours something on me witch causes me to try to yell, "WHAT THE... RICHARD GRAYSON AND JASON TODD I AM GOING TO GET YOU." It sounded like a whisper even though it wasn't supposed to be one. After I took a shower and changed I grabbed my whip and made it go up my arm. As I'm walking by the door I hear a gun shot and then I feel a bullet going in my shoulder. I scream in pain a hold my shoulder then right before the next shot goes off Alfred grabs me and takes me to the batcave. Once there he takes the bullet. I say, "Why is the manor on lockdown?" Bruce said, "Hunters are here, but they are targeting you and you are no longer a vamp right." "For some reason they still think I am. I can handle them if you let me." He told me to handle it my way when I went up there I used my whip to knock them out. But one of them shot a tranquilizer dart at me and I fell to the floor.

Kaldur's POV

Dick called me and said something was wrong with Sky and when I get there I see her knocked out. Bruce asked me why was I there and I told him why and how it started. After that I walked to her bedroom and waited for her to wake up.
