The day I arrived the last thing I remember before going to sleep were the striking clear blue eyes that were mirrors of Faith and Noah's eyes. I woke up to Faith and Noah jumping on my back screaming "mommy, mommy, your here". I pretended to not hear them and kept sleeping, Noah sat on my back and Faith smothered me with kisses, I laughed and turned over and starting kissing whomever of the two I could reach. We stopped when Aunt Clare called from the kitchen saying that breakfast has arrived. We all made a bee line for the kitchen when Sarah popped in with Jordan yelling good morning. After breakfast I told Aunt Clare that we will be going to the hospital, she nodded her head and said okay. We got ready and all the while I was worried that I would see those blue sky eyes.

Sarah and Jordan got into the rental that they rented upon arriving, and Aunt Clare and I hook up the twins car seats and put them in and then we were on our way to the hospital. When we got to the hospital, mom and dads attorney Jim McCall was already there waiting for us. I was surprised to see him there, but then I was also glad because mom and dad were his friends. He walked over and gave me a hug and then said, " You have grown into a jewel little one. I'm glad you came home." I nodded my head and said, "Thank you for being their friend." Aunt Clare and the twins waited outside with Sarah and Jordan while I went in the room with Jim, after what feels like forever I stepped outside the room and nodded to Aunt Clare. I opened the door and they filed inside with the twins. I lifted Faith up and she kissed mom on the cheek and then dad. Aunt Clare lifted Noah and he did the same with mom and dad. I took each of the twins hand and lead them outside while Aunt Clare stayed to say good bye. Sarah and Jordan went in after Aunt Clare came out.

We all filed outside when Sarah said that they'll take the twins to McDonalds for lunch and then the park later while I tend to whats needed to be done. Aunt Clare said she'll go with them but I shook my head and said no, I wanted her to stay with me. Jim informed us and gave directions to get to his office because mom and dad left a will. I was surprised to learn of this but Jim said mom thought of everything 4 years ago. My head was spinning from all this, so I asked Aunt Clare to drive and she agreed. We reached the office and Jim ushered us into his office and informed his secretary to reschedule his late appointments for the next day. We sat across from Jim and then he pulled out a large golden envelope and opened it.

He looked at me for permission and I just nodded my head and then he started reading.

"We, John Baxter Miller and Lisa Marilyn Miller, of 245 Modesto Drive, Modesto, California, declare that this is our last will and testament.

At the time that we made this will and testament, we are happily married, and have lived life knowing that our future is set to be passed on to our living heir and successor. At the time we are making this will, we only have one daughter, Liyana Evelyn Miller.

Our daughter Liyana shall hereinafter be referred to in this will as our heir, successor and CEO of the the Miller Hotel.

We hereby, direct and appoint our as the sole beneficiary of all our belongings, along with the Miller Hotel, the house on 245 Modesto Drive, and the lake house on Modesto Drive Lake lane 542.

We hereby give all our assets to our living heir Liyana Evelyn Miller and in return, she will care for our grandchildren Faith Everly Miller and Noah Zion Miller. "

Jim stopped reading and said the next part is for me to read.

To Liyana Everly Miller,

"We, John Baxter and Lisa Marilyn Miller give you Liyana Evelyn Miller our blessing and love. May you grow to be successful, blissful and to be always faithful. We love you and we will always be there for you even if you don't know. We love you and we love Faith and Noah more than anything in this world.

When Faith Everly reaches the age of 21, we hereby declare that the lake house on Modesto Drive Lake Lane 542 be passed on to her with full ownership.

When Noah Zion reaches the age of 25, we hereby declare that he be name CEO of the Miller Hotel and given full ownership. Should he decline the CEO position, he will then inherit the house on 245 Modesto Drive.

Under no circumstances can anyone break the pact that hotel will never be closed or turned into any other business aside from the hotel business.

Liyana Everly, we name you sole beneficiary of all these until Faith and Noah comes of age, we also leave you with no debts for anything whatsoever, and as our gift to you, in the next three hours, our banks will transfer all the money we have gathered and saved over the course of 50 plus years to your account. We are proud of you and your accomplishments and we love you and the twins so very much. With all our love, Mom and Dad."

I finished reading the will and looked up to Jim and Aunt Clare who were both looking at me. I folded the will and handed it to Jim who took it and pulled another document out of the envelope. He handed it to me and said, "Sign at he bottom and the hotel and the houses are yours. With my heart heavy I cleared my mind and signed the document. Jim took the document and put it back inside the envelope and handed me a smaller envelope stating, "The bank was notified two hours earlier and I have just been informed that you are currently holding all the assets your parents have ever saved and had." I was so surprised that tears kept falling and Aunt Clare got up to hug me and kept saying,"It's okay, it's okay. Everything's fine. Your parents are proud of you." I relaxed a little and Jim took that time to inform me that the bank has sent a verification set up and code for me to access the money my parents had left me. I thanked Jim and told him that I will call him again in a few days.

Aunt Clare and I walked out of his office and we went back to the hotel with Aunt Clare driving while I just stared out the window trying to wrap my head around everything.
