******Hi! I'm sorry for not posting in a while but I've been busy. As you can probably tell, I've given up different chapter names, there were really hard to come up with but that make it better in some ways; you don't know whats going to happen now.

As we all reached the TV after the siren went off, everyone started to look worried, very worried. This was all new to me so I didn't know what to expect.
"The red on the perimeter of the screen means it's really really bad. This almost never happens." Kai explained tensely. As we sat on the couch Gwynn grabbed my hand to reassure me it would be ok.
"Kai! Help me reassure her!" She hissed behind my back thinking I couldn't hear her. Kai jumped off of the back of the couch and put his arm around my shoulders. But somehow that didn't help much. As the news report for the alert came on I saw everyone tense and lean forward in eagerness.
"Tonight we have a very special report. Meteorologists have been tracking a storm of the coast of China. They expected it to dissipate and just give us a good rain, but it had other plans. It showed no signs of hitting us until now. It will hit us this Saturday, that gives us exactly 3 days since it is Tuesday. If this storm keeps going the way it is it will destroy and kill every thing and everyone in its path. We will keep you updated every few hours. Now for your local news."
When I was younger I had a huge fear of storms. It has dulled over the years but if a really bad storm comes up I still get a little scared. Kai knew this and pulled me closer to comfort me.
"The storm is coming whether we are prepared or not. NASA has decided that since the storm is so dangerous and we have almost no time to prepare, everyone in this area will be evacuated to their new airship. This ship is tested and designed to hold us all and fly in the atmosphere until the storm has blown over. They will evacuate you starting tomorrow by neighborhood and street. So you will be driving behind your neighbors and temporarily living beside them. Pack your bags tonight so they can get started as soon as possible in the morning. Good luck and good night."
When its over we all stay silent for a minute. Of course it's Bastian who breaks the silence.
" Well at least we will be safe and near each other," he says standing up, "Good luck and good night folks!" He smirks an starts to walk home. Of course he had to make a joke at a time like this. Gwynn gets up and follows him so she won't have to walk alone. I say goodbye at the door and walk back into the living room. Kai is staring out the window at a storm he can't see. I walk over and put a hand on his tense shoulder.
"Kai, it will be ok. You heard the news report, we will be temporarily living next to each other until it blows over." I said comfortingly.
"I know, but....... something just seems wrong. I don't know what it is but its there." He says tensely.
" Kai, it will be fine. I trust in NASA to keep us out of the storm, alive and well." I say but my words are surer than I am. I hug him at the door before he leaves, and I have a stupid fear that I'll never see him again.
