Percy P.O.V

Tonight I had a dinner picnic with Annabeth on the beach and it was great! Piper helped me set it up but it was mostly my work. Everything in my life was perfect, well as perfect a son of Poseidon's life can be. After a long and passionate kiss with Annabeth, we parted to go to our separate cabins to sleep. I brushed my teeth, slipped on my pj's and jumped into bed. Of course, I just had to have a dream that ruined my perfect day...

~Dream~

Everything was black and I could hear a faint voice. It came closer and closer and suddenly it was right behind me. I turned around and saw someone I never wanted to see again. Kronos. "Kronos! What are you doing here?"

"Now, now. Isn't that a way to address your father."

"What are you talking about? Poseidon's my dad." I replied, confused.

"No no child, you will see. Join me. We will take over the gods and rule the world, my son!"

"I will never join you! And stop calling me your son, Kronos!"

"You'll see..." he said mysteriously and faded away.

~Dream end~

I woke up and rushed to the Big house to tell Chiron about my dream. He came out and asked me why I was there. I told him all about my dream and how Kronos was rising. "This is bad," replied Chiron. He galloped away to tell Dionysus so that he could tell the rest of the gods.

I walked to the pavilion to go eat breakfast. There I saw Annabeth wave to me so I waved back and sat down anxiously. Annabeth walked over to my table and sat down. "Is something bothering you Percy?"

"I had a dream-" I got cut off.

"Was it about Tartarus? Why didn't you say so earlier! I could've come to your cabin and-"

"Don't worry Annabeth, it wasn't about Tartarus. It was Kronos." I proceeded to tell her all about my dream but left out the part about him possibly being my father.

"WHAT?!?!" Annabeth's shriek carried throughout the pavilion and instantly all heads were turned towards us. "Kronos is rising again?" Chaos erupted through the pavilion. Everyone was yelling.

"ENOUGH!" boomed Chiron. "The gods are having a council meeting about this matter right now. I suggest you all forget about it for now and continue on with your day." Everyone left the pavilion to go do their daily activities.
