Christmas

Yang POV

It was team RWBY's first year of celebrating Christmas. Me and Ruby are currently decorating the room while Weiss and Blake are out in Atlas on a mission from Ozpin and they won't be back till on Christmas.
"Hey Yang?" I look down from my position on the ladder to look at my baby sister "yeah Rubes?" She pulled tinsel our of a box and began to decorate the tree "can we make cookies? Y'know following mom's recipe?" I climbed down "sure...I'll ask dad to send it on to me" she squealed and hugged me "this'll be the best Christmas ever!"

Christmas Day

Christmas Day rolled on fast, Ruby woke me up and we decided to wait for Weiss and Blake to return before opening presents. We waited, and waited until there was a shift at the door and in walked Weiss and Blake "Merry Christmas!" The two didn't say anything and went to their respectable beds, me and Ruby glanced at each other before picking up our presents for them and laying them down beside them. We backed away and sat at the desks, they opened their gifts but they didn't look happy. I saw Weiss's gift be placed on the nightstand, I glanced at Ruby who was looking down in disappointment. She had spent ages making Weiss that. I looked at Blake who was looking at my gift to her but she done the same thing. I tapped Ruby on the shoulder "come on Ruby...lets go and visit Team JNPR" she nodded and took her gift bag through. I grabbed mine and took one final glance before shutting the door behind me and entered team JNPR's room.

A few hours later

We returned and found Weiss sitting on Ruby's bed but no Blake. I nudged Ruby who walked over to Weiss cautiously. I backed away and went in search for Blake, I found her on the balcony looking over Vale "hey Blake" she turned around "hey Yang" I walked over and stood beside her "what's wrong?" She sighed "I'm sorry...I shouldn't be bringing down your Christmas...I've never really celebrated Christmas in a homely manner like you and Ruby...it was always in the cold and we barely had enough to to get by, I guess you could say I've never truly celebrated Christmas neither has Weiss to be fair" I hugged her "come back to the room...we'll invite Team JNPR over and we can celebrate...Blake you're my girlfriend and as your girlfriend I want to make this the best Christmas ever" she smiled and hugged me close "thanks Yang" we began walking to the room "did you like my gift?" She nodded "yeah...I loved it, sorry I didn't get you anything" I waved my hand at her "relax...tell you what how about tonight you sleep with me without your bow on?" Her ears flattened "ok...maybe not that but at least sleep on the same bed as me tonight?" She nodded "I'd love to" I slipped off my jacket and placed it on her "come on...you'll catch your death out here" we entered the building and spent the rest of Christmas as a team.

10 years later

I sighed softly as I woke up, my wife of  6 years curled up next to me purring contently, I gently shook her "Blakey belle...wake up" she groaned and curled tighter into me "it's Christmas...the kids will be awake soon" the door slammed open "come on mom it's Christmas, it's Christmas!" I chuckled and hugged them both "merry Christmas kittens...come on let's go through and let mommy wake up" Blake groaned and slumped out of bed "coffee" I laughed "go to the living room and I'll make you a coffee" she nodded and dragged her feet to the living room with the kids "remember kids...no opening presents until breakfast" they both groaned "mom!" I made Blake a coffee and brought it through to her "just how you like it" I winked and walked back to make the kids French toast, I brought them through and placed them on the table. I poured me and Blake a bowl of frosted flakes and poured in the milk, I carried them through and passed Blake her bowl "when are Ruby, Weiss and Summer coming through?" I shrugged "in the next half hour I guess" a knock at the door "or right now" I opened the door and was tackled by Ruby and Summer "Auntie Yang!" "Yang!" I hugged them "merry Christmas Roses" I stood up and hugged Weiss "merry Christmas Snow Queen" she smiled warmly "merry Christmas Yang" we walked through to the living room where everyone had finished breakfast and the living room was nearly covered in presents "ok kids presents!" My scroll vibrated, I picked it up, it was from Jaune "hey Yang merry Christmas...just wondering if the whole JNPR clan can come over and spend Christmas with you guys? We managed to burn the kitchen down. I understand that you'll be full with your family coming over but if we can come over it'll be much appreciated. If not its cool" I smiled "hey Blake...do we have enough room for the JNPR clan?" She nodded "all the food we make at Christmas can feed an army of twenty, of course they can come over" I texted Jaune back and sat next to Blake hugged her, I kissed her and passed her my gift "hope you'll like it" she opened it and found a black cat ornament carved in black and white dust "Yang, it's beautiful" she gave me a box. I shredded it open and peered inside, there was a stick. My eyes watered "you mean?" She nodded "merry Christmas Yang" I kissed her "best Christmas ever" Ruby came over "what is it?" I smiled "Blake is pregnant again" I pulled her close "oh I'm so happy! Thank you!" She smiled "hey...you done most of the work"
