Everyone continued talking about Scott's news as Mitch walked out, looking down.

Kevin, Kirstie, and Avi chilled on the couch, Esther sitting on the leg next to Avi, and Scott standing up.

All of them noticed him and Kirstie immediately stood up.

Mitch looked up at her, a look on his face saying he didn't want to hear any of it.

He was tired of being treated like he was so fragile.

Kirstie automatically read his facial expression like a book and walked up to him.

"Hey Mitchie, how did you sleep last night?"

Best question to ask when you already know the answer, right?

"Not so good, but I'll live."

Mitch gave Kirstie a hug and walked over to the coffee machine.

He took one of the little containers filled with the bitter powder and pressed it into the machine.

Kirstie looked to the group who stared at her, not knowing what to say.

Mitch got out a mug and put it under the dispenser.

She gave them all a look to say something.

I mean come on, Mitch just had a horrible night and no one is bothering to talk to him.

He pushed a button and the coffee started pouring out.

Kevin decides to speak up. "So guys, uh..."

He clapped his hands and rubbed them together to break the awkward silence.

"Since we're on this bus for like, the whole day, what should we do?"

Mitch turned around and leaned against the side of the counter.

"Well I mean, it is our first day of tour, we should just chill out. Get used to being on the road again," Esther spoke out loud.

Everyone agreed as Scott walked over to Mitch and put his arm around his shoulder.

Mitch looked up to Scott and smiled, causing Scott to look down.

Both men leaned in for a small peck as the coffee was done pouring.

Kirstie and Esther silently fangirled while Avi and Kevin just smiled.

Everyone started to have their own conversations.

Mitch turned back around, causing Scott's arm to lift off his shoulders and around his waist.

Scott leaned down to Mitch's ear and whispered, "You look gorgeous today."

Mitch smiled and laid his head on Scott's chest.

"Thanks... babe."

That was the first time Mitch had ever said that to his boyfriend.

Mitch immediately blushed and brought the mug to his lips.

The bitter but sweet taste running down Mitch's throat, waking him up more with each sip.

"So where are we right now?" Avi asked out loud.

Kevin looked to his phone, then back to Avi.

"Kansas."

"What time is it?"

Kevin looked to his phone again.

"9:21 am"

"Uh huh and when's lunch?"
