"Mitchy.... Hey, wake up...." A soft voice murmured.

Mitch stayed in his place, enjoying the comfort he was in.

"Hey.. come on get up...." The soft voice arose again.

Mitch started to awake once more, but not from the beeping of machinery.

"Hmm? What?"

The brunette slowly woke up, opening his eyes carefully.

When his sight came into focus, he saw that he still laid on Scott's chest.

"Is Dr. Monson here?"

Mitch lifted his head and started finding the source of the voice.

He first looked to-

"Scott!" Mitch yelled.

Scott smiled, his beautiful blue eyes lighting up.

"Hey Mitchy."

Mitch hugged Scott close, relieved that he was alive. "I thought you were going to die..."

Scott slowly ran his hand through a Mitch's hair. "I would never leave you like that, and not that fast either."

Mitch chuckled, pressing his lips onto his boyfriends.

He was alive.

After so much worry and anxiousness....

Scott survived.

Mitch brought himself back and looked into Scott's eyes.

"Scott, what you did for me last night, was so brave of you. I know, the guilt must be weighing you down, but it was self defense. You did what you had to do. And Hank.... I still can't believe he covered for you, and got us out of there. I love you so much and I'm so grateful that you're in my life. Thank you for saving me."

Mitch hugged Scott close again, tucking his face into the crook of his neck to hide his blush.

Scott kissed Mitch's shoulder, feeling a little shudder underneath his lips. "I love you too, Mitchy."

The brunette melted into Scott's touch, feeling more and more relief with each second that passed by.

The two laid there in a comfortable silence.

Until Scott went to rub Mitch's back.

When Scott touched his bruised skin, Mitch immediately flinched.

But not just any flinch, you could see his eyes widen, hear his breathing hitch, and see the fear wipe across his face.

As soon as he realized Scott was only rubbing his back, he relaxed himself once more.

"Mitch? Are you alright?"

Mitch sighed, who hoped that they would never have to talk about this again.

"Yes."

"Well then what the heck was-"

"You're hands are just cold. Seriously, I'm alright."

Scott brought his hand up to his cheek and felt the warmth of his skin.

Scott wasn't going to let Mitch push him away so easily.

He laid his hand back down on Mitch's back.

"Mitchell, I know there's something wrong. And it is more than just Travis. He's gone and you've recovered from him. Is it-"
