Chapter 1: Pairing Up

“Fifth Harmony is up next!” one of the stage crews shouted. Normani, Ally, Lauren, Dinah and Camila were all getting ready. The girls will perform at Madison Square Garden with their song, Who are You.

The girls were nervous.  The make-up artists are fixing their costumes, hair and their make-up for tonight while some were practicing their song. “omg Lauren, what if we make a mistake?” Camila nervously said. Her hands were shaking and sweating. “Cool down Camz everything will be just fine. Just remember your parts in the songs and you’ll be just fine.” Lauren said to Camila giving her a kiss on her forehead. No one saw them. Time slowed down. It was just the two of them there, They were both staring at each other’s eyes and it was perfect. “CAMILA, LAUREN! 1 MINUTE!!” Normani shouted at them. Camila ran to get ready while Lauren stood there frozen, thinking about what she did. She liked Camila for a long time now but she couldn’t say it to her. Something is stopping her and it hurts her everyday to hide her true feelings to her. Lauren headed to the nearest mirror and fixed her clothes and hair. She was wearing a sleeveless denim crop top, black short, High heels and a black beanie. When Lauren turned around she saw Camila. She was wearing a white long-sleeved dress with a matching pink bows and pink stilettos. “FIFTH HARMONY IT’S NOW YOUR TIME!”  one of the stage crews shouted again. The girls talked a little before performing. “Okay girls! It’s now or never! Just remember the song and do it just like we practiced!” Ally said. And they all nodded. They went out and started performing. Camila and Lauren were holding hands when they went out to perform.

Monday you sent me flowers

Tuesday made me feel stupid

Wednesday the world was ours

Thursday you didn’t prove it

Friday fell back in love

Saturday we didn’t talk

Sunday you said you needed space.

The girls stunned the audience. Their voices were amazing. Camila thought of what Lauren said to her earlier; “Cool down Camz everything will be just fine. Just remember your parts in the songs and you’ll be just fine.”. Camila took a deep breath and continued to sing with the girls.

Applauses were heard everywhere. They all bowed together and went backstage with smiles on their faces. “OH MY GOD GUYS!! YOU KILLED IT TONIGHT! AND CAMILA OMG YOUR VOICE WAS AMAZING!” Dinah said.

After Madison square garden the girls went to their hotel to rest. “Okay , I’ll announce the roommates for this night.” Their manager said. Camila was crossing her fingers wishing Lauren would be her roommate. Camila likes Lauren too, but she was sure that it’ll be weird when she’ll say it to her. Camila really liked it when Lauren hugs her for no reason and holds her hand. Camila liked it when she laughs and sings. Camila fell in love really quick at Lauren. It wasn’t just puppy love, it’s was something. “Ally Normani, and Camila. And Lauren and Dinah.” Their Manager said. Camila and Lauren’s smile turned upside down. They both wanted to be together. What was wrong?

Camila got the key to their rooms, same with Dinah. Everyone headed to their rooms. Everyone took a bath and did everything necessary before going to bed. “Good night everyone..” Ally said. “Night.” Camila said lowly. Camila couldn’t sleep. She doesn’t know what’s keeping her awake. She was tired. She doesn’t know what’s keeping her awake. She was very tired. Finally, she decided to go into the other room.

Dinah and Lauren’s room.

She stood up from her carefully and tiptoed through the door, She opened the door and went outside. She reached their door and it wasn’t locked. As she entered their room, she saw Lauren wrapped up under the blankets. So Camila crawled into Lauren’s bed and sneaked up under her covers and hugged her tightly by the stomach like a little girl. “Wha-a.” Lauren said half-asleep. Lauren checked under her covers. She saw Camila asleep and hugging her. A smile grew on her face and she slept back again.

Camila had a smile on her face while she was sleeping. She felt warm and happy. It felt like it was just the two of them again nothing less.

“I Love you Lauren,” Camila whispered. “to the moon and back.”.
