Chapter 15: Aftermath

                  After the girls performed in Ohio, they got to check in their hotel. Since Dinah, Normani and Camila’s talk in the bus, they decided to make Lauren and Camila roommates for the night.“Are you sure this is going to work?” Camila asked Dinah nervously. “Don’t worry Chancho, everything will be fine; We talked about this in the bus right?” Dinah stated as she reassured Camila. Camila was about the enter the room and tell Lauren what really happened between her and Austin without her thinking wrong assumptions. But little did she know that Lauren has already made a wrong view about it.

                She entered the room and saw Lauren at the bed playing with her laptop with her headphones on. Camila felt like her knees were slowly turning into jelly; Lauren was simply breathtaking; She was wearing booty shorts that exposed her long and  legs and her perfectly shaped bottom. Lauren didn’t notice her entering the room so Camila decided to come up to her and get her attention. “Um… Hey.” Camila said shyly. Lauren turned up to look at her and removed her headphones. Lauren suddenly remembered the article she read about Austin and Camila. Her bright features were replaced by sullen emotions. “Oh, hey.” Lauren said lowly. Camila couldn’t help but notice how Lauren looked so down.

                “What’s wrong?” Camila asked as she down at the bed across Lauren’s. “Nothing; Nothing at all.” Lauren lied and tried her best to fake a smile at Camila. She closed her laptop and sat down properly on the bed. “No, there’s something wrong Lauren.” Camila said with a stern voice now. “Please tell me what’s wrong.” Camila begged. “You.” Lauren said softly as she stood up. Camila knew she was going out of the room; So she grabbed her hand and stopped her. “Lauren wait.” She paused. “What do you mean by me?” Camila asked genuinely confused. “No don’t Camila.” Lauren said, her voice cracking and trying to escape Camila’s grip on her hand. “Lauren what are you saying?” Camila asked her again. “You cheated on me Camila!” Lauren shouted as she faced Camila with tears streaming down her eyes.

                Camila was shocked. From all of the worst things she could’ve imagined to happen; This was  definitely one the top of the list. “You cheated on me for Austin.” Lauren said sobbing now. “No I didn’t Lauren, I didn’t.” Camila defended. “Stop lying Camila! I saw it… I.. saw it all.” Lauren said in between her sobs. As Lauren got her arm out of Camila’s grip, She ran out of the room.

                Dinah was waiting outside the room, But she didn’t try top stop Lauren because she knows everything will get worse than it is. Camila followed then as Lauren stormed out of the room and saw her farther now. “WHY DIDN’T YOU STOP HER?!” Camila angrily shouted at Dinah. “Just let her go this time Mila.” Dinah said Calmly. “Now tell me what happened back there.” Dinah asked as she held Camila’s hands and tried to keep her Calm. “She saw it all; The article and the video.” Camila said as Dinah hugged her as she started crying on Dinah’s shoulders. “Sh…she thinks I’m ly..lying to her now and she won’t believe me anymore.” She added as her cries get louder this time. Camila collapsed to the floor with Dinah still hugging her. They were on the floor now, sitting together while Dinah tried to comfort Camila as she patted her back.

                “It’s okay Camila; Everything will be.” Dinah said. “We’ll talk to her soon.”
