CHAPTER 1

A Christmas Story

It was the 1st of December and everyone was sitting in the bullpen.

"Already opened your advent calendar, Fern?" Deeks smirked.

"Don't call me Fern. I'm not as childish as you, I don't need one." Kensi replied.

"Hey! I have one, too!" Sam said.

"Sam, you have two kids, that's an excuse."

"But this one is mine! Everyday sweet and delicious chocolates in shape of snowmen, presents or santas!" Sam defended Deeks who nodded in agreement.

"Oh god, guys how old are you?!" Callen helped his "little sister".

Suddenly Eric called to a new case. They headed up to OPS.

"Peter Morgan. The Manager of CDEX was found this morning...murdered...."

"That doesn't look nice..." Deeks mumbeled.

"You and Kensi will inform his wife and Sam and I will go to the crime scene" Callen ordered.

"Why do we always have the sad part?" Deeks said but Kensi didn't answer.

At the widow's house, they jumped out of the car and Kensi pushed the doorbell. "NCIS, open up!" She shouted because nobody answered. "Seems like noone's here." Deeks said when he looked through the window. "I'll call Sam".

"Kens?"
"Yeah, we're at Mira Morgan's house but nobody's here."
"Well..."
-"Sam! Look here" Callen shouted.
"Kens hang on."

Callen showed him another dead body. "That's Mira" he said.

"Kensi, we found her." Sam told her and she hang up.

"What's up?" Deeks asked.
"Mira's dead." She mumbeled and they drove to the crime scene.
