Chapter 5: Meeting 1D&5H

Lauren's POV

When Zayn left, the girls started to scream. I dropped Camzi and plugged my ears. "OW LOLO!" She yelled at me. I shrugged and held out my hand for her. She took it and jumped up. She hugged me tightly and said, "Thank you Lolo for bumping into Zayn!" I laugh and replied, "Camz, they were going to surprise us anyway." Someone knocked on my door and Camz yelled, "COME IN!" Simon and LA walked in smiling. "What's all this screaming about?" Simon asked. I looked at all the girls and they couldn't contain their excitement so they all started to talk at once. LA said, "Ladies, ladies, one person at a time." They all nod and I spoke up, "Well... It all started when we were going to the meet & greet. I was walking out of the hotel when I bumped into someone. That someone was the one and only Zayn Malik. At that time, I didn't know who One Direction were. Zayn and I hung out today and that's why I was late." Simon and LA nod understanding. "That still doesn't cover why you girls are so excited," Simon said. "UNCLE SI, WE JUST MET ZAYN!" Camila shouts. "WHAT?! One Direction were supposed to be a surprise," LA says in complete shock. I shrug again, "Sorry. He came to talk to me in my dressing room and the girls walked in." We hear another knock on the door and in walks Zayn. "Hello ladies, meet One Direction," Zayn announces and 4 other handsome boys walk in. I look to the girls and they're all tapping each other and surprisingly containing their screams. "Hi, I'm Harry Styles," the curly haired one says. "Hey, I'm Niall Horan and I love food," the blonde Irish one says. "ME TOO!" Camila screams and she quickly covers her mouth. The boys chuckle and the one with the faux hawk looking hair says, "I'm Liam Payne." The one with the messy brown hair says, "I'm Louis Tomlinson. It's very nice to meet you all." He's cute and a gentleman. "And I'm Zayn Malik but I've met you all already," Zayn says. I smile and he walks towards me. "I'm surprised that they're so calm," he whispers to me. "Oh no," I shake my head and continue, "1...2...3..." My four best friends start to scream piercing screams and I plug my ears and so do the rest of the others. After about 10 seconds they stop. "We're sorry," Ally says. "It's okay. We completely understand," Liam says. "Let's hangout together!" Harry announces while looking at Camila. I look at him in suspicion but nod anyways. "Maybe some other time. The girls have to get back and pack. And so do you we recall," Simon says. They all groan in disappointment but I quickly say, "Let's hangout in California." They all nod agreeing and we all say bye to each other and then they all leave except the girls. "Get out," I say. "Well then! I see how it is dawg," Dinah says playfully. I smile, shaking my head and then I shoo them all out. I dress myself in more comfortable clothing and then I head to the entrance. The rest of the girls come right after and Normani asks, "Ready?" "Definitely," we all reply. We walk out and screams and flashes fill the air. We take a few photos with fans and pose for a few pictures for the cameras. "THANK YOU LONDON! WE HAD A GREAT TIME. YOU'RE AN INCREDIBLE AUDIENCE,"Camila shouts above the noise. We get into the vehicle and the driver drives us back to the hotel.

Zayn's POV

We finally reach home and I instantly head to room. I face plant into my pillow and someone knocks on my door. "Zayn, it's Louis," my mate says. "Come in!" I shout. He opens the door and sits on the edge of my bed. "What's up mate?" I ask. "Do you love Perrie?" He questions back. "Of course I do! She's my girlfriend," I answer back in shock. "I'm sorry Zayn. It's just that you look at Lauren as more than a friend," he says. "No, no Louis. Lauren is like a sister to me. Even though we met yesterday," I explain. "Okay. But just know, I ship you two together. Lauren makes you genuinely happy and Perrie has been bringing you down these days," he says before exiting my room. I think about what he says over and over then I grab out my suitcase and pack my things for America.

~The next morning~

"Wake up mate!" I hear Louis shout through my door. I groan getting up, brushing my teeth, and doing my hair. I put on my sunglasses and we all head to meet the girls at the airport. Once we reach the destination we head inside to meet Simon and LA. "Are the girls here yet? I want to talk to Camila about food," says Niall. "Why do you want to talk to her about food, Ni?" Liam inquires. "Because I want to know what her favorite foods are. I want to try something new," Niall answers Liam. We all chuckle lightly and a few minutes later, the girls arrive. "Finally nice of you to show. Fashionably late as always," LA says. "We're sorry LA. Mila wanted to eat pizza before we came," Normani says. "Save any for me?" Niall asks. "Sorry Niall, but no," Lauren says. He makes a sad face and we all board the plane heading to first class. I sit in a random seat seeing as no one is here but us. I was about to put my earbuds in my ears until I heard a very familiar husky voice ask, "May I sit here?" I nod and Lauren sits down. I get a text and I unlock my phone to see a picture of Perrie with a frown. The caption says, "I'll miss you baby :(" I reply that I'll miss her too and the flight attendant comes to tell us to put our seat belts on. Lauren and I buckle our seat belts and then we were in the sky. I stare at the clouds that we were passing by and then I heard light snores. I turn to Lauren and she was sleeping peacefully with her head hanging in the aisle. I lightly lift her head and put it on my shoulder. I stare at her features studying every single one of them. I'm not a creeper, trust me. Her full pink lips that I so desperately want to kiss. Wait, what? No, I'm dating Perrie. I stare at her cute little nose that I want to poke and then her little ears that I want to nibble. I look at her closed eyes but I know that they're a deep sea of green. I would stare at her beautiful eyes all day if I could. Maybe Perrie and I aren't meant to be. But I love her. I'm not letting her go. Lauren and I could be meant for each other but not in this lfetime because I have Perrie. I plan on marrying Perrie. I lay my head on Lauren's and then I slowly drift to dreamland.

Lauren's POV again

I woke up to someone tapping me and I see Camila sitting in the aisle. I feel something on my head and I slowly lift it and I see Zayn sleeping. I put his head against the window and I turn to Camila. "What's up Camz?" I ask. "Can we talk?" She asks back. I nod. She points to the empty seats 3 rows behind us and I get up, following her. She sits by the window and then I sit next to her. I wait for her to start speaking. She takes a deep breath and starts, "Do you like Zayn, Lauren?" "No, Camz. He's dating someone anyways." "But Lolo, I see the way you two look at each other. You're meant to be. You have his heart even if he doesn't say so." "No Camz, I don't. I like Zayn but as my brother." "Whatever Lolo. I ship Zauren. He makes you happy. I haven't seen you truly happy ever since Keaton broke up with you." "I agree," someone says. Camila and I look up and Dinah's just standing there, looking at us behind our seats. "It is NOT polite to eavesdrop Cheechee!" Camila says to her. "Couldn't help it. I heard you two talking when I came out of the bathroom," Dinah says. Camila shakes her head, "Might as well join into the conversation then." "This is not a conversation. You're just sharing your opinions," I say and then I get up only to be pushed down by Ally and Normani. "What is this? A Fifth Harmony meeting that I don't know about?" I question looking at all of them. "No. It's your therapy session Lauren," Ally says. "I don't even need therapy!" I shoot back. "Just hear us out Lolo," Camila says with her sad eyes. I sigh relaxing and Camila says, "I care for your happiness Lo. Zayn is the only one who gives you that. I can't even give you happiness and I'm your best friend! No offense to the rest of you. We still love you." They nod understanding and we hear someone say, "I think Zayn might like Lauren." We look and Louis is standing there. "Great! Everyone just join in!" I say. "You make him happy too Lauren. Zayn has been very down these days due to his girlfriend. I ship Zauren too," Louis says. I shake my head getting up and pushing everybody out of my way and then I sit behind Zayn and I's seats. "Just think about it Lolo," Camila says walking behind everyone. I put my headphones in and I zone out watching the clouds. Maybe I do like Zayn a little bit. We could never be together though. He has Perrie. We'll just see where we go from here.
