Chapter 13: Something Called Love

Lauren's POV

I yawn waking up and stretching. I open my eyes to see Zayn staring out my window. I walk over to him.

"Whatcha looking at?" I ask.
"You have a great view," he answers.
"I've never really noticed but now that you say it, I do," I say.
"You're very welcome," he says.
"For what?" I ask. He turns around and smiles. I turn with him and I see that my room is clear. He's packed half of my things.
"You did all this while I was asleep?" I ask in disbelief.
"Yes. You could say that it took a while but I enjoyed it," he replies.
"Eh, why?" I ask.
"Because I was helping you," he simply responds.
"Thank you so so so much, Z!" I exclaim hugging him tightly.
"It was nothing. It's paying you for letting us stay here with you girls," he says. I pull away.
"You paid for my breakfast. How many times are you gonna pay me back?" I ask.
"As much as I want to," he replies.
"I'm gonna go check on Camila. Thank you again!" I say opening the door.
"It's alright. I'll be with the rest of the gang," he says walking towards the stairs.

I walk the other direction towards Camila's room. I knock once and she opens the door. I walk in after her to see that her room is much much cleaner than it used to be. I turn the corner and Harry is sitting on her chair.

"Both of you did this?" I ask.
"More like Harry did because you know me but yeah, we did," Camila answers.
"Zayn told me that he packed half of your room," Harry says standing up.
"Yes. I'm so grateful for that. How should I pay him back?" I ask the both of them.
"Go out with him!" Camila suggests.
"Give him a chance," Harry throws out.
"Wow, thanks guys. I'll take your suggestions under consideration," I say.
"You're welcome!" Camila giggles.
"He'd be the happiest man alive," Harry says.
"Whenever I touch him I feel something. I feel like I'm the only girl in this world. I feel alive and excited for what's next to come. Oh gosh. What's wrong with me?" I explain. They both look at each other then back at me and smiled.
"What?" I ask.
"Lolo, you may not believe this but you're experiencing something. Something that everyone experiences at least once in their life. Something that you don't even know happened. Something lively. Something that I feel when I'm with Austin," she says.
"What something?" I ask again.
"Something called love," Harry replies.
"Love?!" I exclaim.
"Love," they say at the same time. I know that I said I love Zayn but love love?! Like I wanna marry him love?
"Lolo, are you okay? You look like you're gonna pass out," Camila says reaching for me. Before I could feel her hand on me, I feel myself fall but before I hit the floor I felt two strong arms catch me and then everything became black.

Harry's POV

I saw Lauren leaning back a little and looking paler than usual so I walked behind her.

"Lolo, are you okay? You look like you're gonna pass out," Camila says. As if on cue, Lauren passes out. I catch her before she hits the ground and I carry her to Camila's bed.
"What did we say?" I ask.
"I don't even know," Camila answers.
"Hey Harry... Oh hi Camila," Zayn says barging in through the door. Hi eyes wander and soon land on Lauren. He rushed over to her side and rubbed her cheek with the back of his hand.
"What happened to her?" He asks.
"She passed out," I answer.
"Why?" He asks again.
"Well... Uh, you see... She just passed out," Camila tried to explain.
"She just passed out? No explanation?" Zayn questions.
"Nope! No explanation at all..." Camila sarcastically laughs it off.
"Zayn, mate, maybe you should take her to her room," I suggest.
"Yes, maybe I should. Should we call 911?" he asks.
"No. She'll be fine. She'll wake up in an hour or so," Camila answers.

Zayn picks her up in his arms and carries her bridal style. I walk over to the door and I open it. He nods a thank you and walks over to Lauren's room. I sigh shutting the door again and I walk over to Camila.

"Young love. So complicated," I say.
"I definitely agree," she says.
"They obviously love each other. Why's Lauren so cautious about it?" I ask.
"Lauren's been hurt a lot. She's afraid of being hurt again. She wants somebody to care for her. To love her. Lauren's scared to lose somebody again," Camila responds.
"Zayn cares a lot for her and loves her a lot," I say.
"Yes, Lauren can see that but she's being insecure about it. Give her time. She'll eventually let her guard down for Zayn," she says.
"I can't wait to see them get married. Their love is an epic love," I say.
"Yeah. I gotta go. Austin's calling," she says fleeing the room.
"I love you..." I whisper.

Zayn's POV

I just saw her. Why'd she pass out? Is she sick? I think I should get her some water for when she wakes up. Yeah, I should. I walk to the kitchen passing by Dinah and Siope being all lovey dovey on the couch. I wish that was Lauren and I. Someday. I open the fridge and I grab out a water bottle. I shut the fridge and I jumped seeing Niall there. I put my hand over my chest as I was heavily breathing.

"Niall! You almost gave me a heart attack!" I shout at him.
"Well, sorry mate. I just wanted to let you know that I asked Alexa out," he says.
"Really? I'm proud of you mate," I congratulate him.
"Thank you. Where's Lauren?" He asks.
"She passed out," I reply.
"Don't you call 911 when somebody passes out?" He asks confused.
"Yes, but Harry and Camila told me not too. They said its fine," I answer.
"Okay... That's odd. I'll see you later. I'm gonna go catch up with Alexa," he says walking away.

I smile knowing that Niall finally got the girl of his dreams. Camila walks into the kitchen laughing on the phone. She grabs the water bottle out of my hand and mouths a thank you. I just slightly nod and I open the fridge to grab another. I walk back into Lauren's room and the first thing I see is her chest rising up and down. I set the water bottle on her nightstand. Then I seat myself on her bed. She looks so peaceful. I lay next to her as I lace our fingers. Her hand fits in mine like it's made just for me. Yes, I just sang my own song in my head. I unlaced our fingers and then I felt my eyes droop.

I woke up due to the shuffling beside me. Lauren must've gained consciousness again because she was moving in her sleep. She mumbled something and started moving rapidly.

"Zayn... Zayn... Zayn!" She shouts.
"Lauren, wake up!" I say shaking her.
"ZAYN!" She shouts again waking up and bumping heads with me. I rub my head as she rubs hers.
"Lauren, did you have a nightmare?" I ask.
"Oh, Zayn! It felt so real," she responds as she clung tightly to me.
"What felt so real?" I pry.
"We were... Dating and we were walking on the beach when Perrie came out of nowhere and says that she wants you back. You told her that you never stopped loving her and you walked off with her. That's when I shouted for you to come back to me. It felt real," she explains.
"Lauren, Perrie and I are through. I could never leave you," I say reassuring her.
"Promise?" She asks looking into my eyes.
"I promise. Oh and I got you a water bottle,"I answer. She smiles and kisses my cheek. I grab the water bottle off the nightstand and I hand it to her. She gradually accepts it and takes a few sips.
"Zayn, you wanna know why I passed out?" She asks.
"Yes, of course," I answer simply.
"I passed out because I figured out that I love you. I know that I've said I love you to you before but that was on instinct. I figured out that I ACTUALLY love you. I want us to be together. I'm ready for what's to come," she says. I literally can feel my lips tearing. I'm smiling eye to eye.
"I'm ready too. Forever and always?" I ask.
"Forever and always," she says.
"I can't believe this. Niall and I both got the girls of our dreams," I say.
"What? Niall got the girl of his dreams?" She inquires.
"You should go talk to Alexa. Meet me on the deck by the pool at 2," I say.
"Okay. Bye, Z!" She says pecking my lips and then walking out the door.

I can't believe I got her. My love. My one and only. We can only go up from here. I hope that the fans will support us. Maybe we should wait to go public. Yeah, we should wait.

A/N

Looks like Zauren is finally getting together! Yay! I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm going on vacation this week with my family. We're going until next Monday so I might not update anything the weekend that we're there. I apologize in advance if I don't. If I don't then I'll try to update the following weekend.
