Chapter 39: Perfection

Zayn's POV
I didn't expect Camila and Normani to follow us. They can't know what's going on here. They can't know what I'm going to do.

"Hello, ladies. Nothing's going on, just two lads talking with one another." Liam says nervously. I discreetly slapped him and glared through the side of his head.

"Yeah... Okay. What's up with all the roses?" Camila interrogates. She looks angry... Might as well tell her the truth.

"It's a trail that'll lead her here and a guy of mine will be waiting. If you two want to be apart of the plan then I need you guys to go watch Lauren in the dressing room and text me when she's awake." I explained. They looked at each other as if silently asking what they wanted to do.

"Fine. I never expected my own boyfriend to lie to me." Normani conveys. Liam looked to the ground and the girls walked off.

"I'm sorry, Li. All these secrets are driving her away from you. If you want to back out of the plan, I totally understand." I apologized and he made a quick move to shake his head as in he still wanted to be a part of it. I patted his shoulder and then left out the back door and to the hotel.

Everything HAS to be perfect or else I came here for nothing. My love for Lauren is bigger than the entire universe and I want her to know that. I want her to know that she is my sunshine, my happiness, my light, my love, and my life. That's never going to change no matter the circumstances. She's pure perfection in my eyes.

Once I got into the hotel room, I headed straight for my laptop that was sitting on my bed. I opened up my minimized browser and continued working on something that I've been keeping track of ever since I went to the Trafalgar Square with Lauren. I hope she likes what I'm doing because it almost brings me to tears just working on it. I heard a sudden knock on the door that scared me and I quickly got up to answer it.

"Hello, Mr. Zayn. A lady named Perrie Edwards was looking for you in the lobby. She says it's urgent and would like to speak to you as soon as possible. Here is an extra room key. Her room is on level 10, the first door on the right," A bellboy explained.

I was shocked at first so I made no move to retrieve the key. My ex-girlfriend shows out of nowhere and is wanting to speak to me. You would do the same as I. The bellboy was looking at me expectantly and I finally got out of my shocked state to take the keycard out of his hand. He respectfully and politely exited the doorway and down to the elevators.

I saved my progress and put my laptop to sleep before I grabbed my red OBEY snapback and packed up the laptop. I made sure I had everything I needed for Lauren's surprise and then headed to level 10 to meet with Perrie.

Camila's POV

I did not know that Lauren could nap for this long. It's been like what, 4 hours now? She's still dead asleep. I'm bored and want to get Zayn's plan moving along. I wanna wake her but she'd be extremely pissed at me and we don't want that during the show tonight. She also looks at peace for once in a long time. Luke's been giving her headaches and scares. Yes, she likes him but she loves Zayn and wouldn't pursue anything with Luke. She's told me and promised me one thing, she wouldn't do to Zayn what he did to her. She's not the cheating type and I know this because she's my best friend.

"She's still asleep? Mila, we have a show in 2 hours and she still didn't get her makeup done yet," Ally scolds. I rolled my eyes and got up from my chair.

"Yes, I know, but I don't want to wake her up. You know she'll be mad and she looks so at peace right now, am I right?" I questioned her. She was in thoughts but finally nodded. We both didn't know what to do so we just sat in our thinking process. We need someone who isn't afraid of her, who won't care what she does and will fight back. We need...
