Brea grabbed her head. 'What the hell happened?' She lifted her blanket, and upon seeing that she was still dressed from the night before, gave a sigh of relief. She went to roll out of bed and search for Savannah's stash of aspirin, when a strong arm held her in place. She flung the blankest off of her and clawed at the arm restraining her, screaming as loud as possible. Moments later, Trevor, Dan, and Scarlett rushed into the room, ready to help.
"Brea! It's me!" Jacob tried to get her attention.
"What the hell's going on?" Dan shouted.
"Brea! It's Jacob!" Scarlett tried to reassure her hysterical friend.
Trevor just shook his head. "I'm gonna go get breakfast going..."
Brea held her head in her hands, her own screaming making the pain she had felt triple. She looked back on her bed and saw Jacob lounged where he had been all night – on the smallest section of her bed, pressed against the wall. "Jake?" She winced as she spoke.
"Morning Brea."
"You okay Brea?" Dan asked, not sure if he should stay or leave.
"She'll be fine Daniel..." Scarlett shot Jacob a sympathetic look as she took Dan by the hand back to his bedroom.
"Enjoying the hangover Brea?"
"So much pounding..." She groaned in response. "Sav has aspirin here somewhere." She staggered to Savannah's night side table. She shuffled the half-emptied bottle of chocolate syrup and a few other things that she really didn't need to know Savannah had, to the side. "Where did she put it?" She growled angrily.
Jacob made his way to her and closed the drawer. "It doesn't matter, you can't have any anyways."
"Give me the damned aspirin Jacob."
"I can try to find you some Tylenol or something like that, but you can't have aspirin or ibuprofen."
"Why the fuck not?" The anger in her voice was steadily increasing.
"Because you're pregnant." He wanted to say more, but he held his tongue. There had to have been a good reason she found out she was pregnant and got completely shit-faced hours later.
"I'm what?" Brea sat on Savannah's bed, trying to keep her head from spinning too hard. She shut her eyes and willed herself to focus on the night before. It was a bit of a scrambled blur.
She remembered Trevor asking her to go to his first karaoke show at Drew's place. She took a few calming deep breaths. She thought back farther, and remembered using the downstairs bathroom to take a pregnancy test. She had been feeling off but attributed it to Jacob wanting space. She had gotten the test on a whim, after she had noticed that she hadn't had a period since just before Christmas. "Oh my God, I am...I really am, aren't I?" She said softly to herself.
Jacob sat next to her and put an arm around her shoulders. "Were you going to tell me?"
Brea looked into his blue eyes and wanted to cry. "I didn't even know if I could have. You were avoiding me. How do you know? I haven't told anyone that -" She stopped speaking as it make her head feel worse.
"I overheard quite the argument between Dan and Erik. Dan found the test and called Erik and Savannah up to tell them that leaving that kind of stuff out is nasty." He smirked. "Savannah blamed Scarlett, who in turn blamed one of Trevor's 'guests.' I think they were too busy arguing to think of you."
