"Well if it isn't the Jesus freak.", Jenna laughed as she was leaned up against the wall near Tyler's locker. Everyone turned their attention to where she stared, chuckling.

"Hey, Tyler!", Josh walked up to his locker and group of friends surrounding. Tyler turned slightly towards him, slightly embarrassed, feeling as if his reputation was plummeting the longer Josh stood in front of him.

"Josh..", Tyler stated with no emotion as He leaned against his locker.

"Ready to go over the play after school? My house okay?", Josh asked still smiling, he shifted his book to one arm. Josh scanned his eyes to his friends smiling at them as well.

"That'd only happen in your dreams.", Tyler replied with a smirk. Josh squinted his eyes at his response looking to his friends, seeing as they all were smiling or trying to stifle a giggle.

Josh nodded his head in slight disappointment towards Tyler, biting his lip before walking off. They all made their laughs audible as he left. Continuing to make jokes. Tyler looked down at his feet and bit the inside of his cheek.

"Nice one, Ty.", Brendon said sarcastically as he nudged his chest. Tyler looked up quickly and smirked but it soon fading.

The bell rang signaling all the students to go to class. Tyler pushed himself of the locker and grabbed his backpack off the floor, throwing it over his shoulder.

Tyler decided to skip class, creative writing not being what he wanted to do today, but also to catch Josh alone. He knew Josh had a free period at this time.

"Josh...", Tyler whispered low as he walked to his locker.

Josh huffed as he turned to see the brown haired boy walking towards him. "What do you want, Joseph? I've known you for years and you've never been the type to be the first one to say 'Hello'.", Josh turned back to his locker organizing it and grabbing the books he'd need for later.

"Look, Josh. I- I just want to apologize fo-"

"No need to apologize, Joseph. I definitely get it. You can't be seen with someone like me, but what makes you think I want to be seen with someone like you?", Josh chuckled and closed his locker. "You kind of ruin my reputation.", he bit his lip and smiled.

Tyler rolled his eyes as he grabbed the script from his back pocket. "Let's just work on this. And then be fine with each other forever. I'll be at your house after school, okay?", Tyler asked as he waved the script in Josh's face.

"Please, Ty. I'm praying for it to be over as soon as possible.", Josh laughed.

"Just help me. I don't need your snarky comments.", Tyler stated.

"You've obviously never asked someone for help.", Josh looked at him. "Something like this deserves flattery and has to be for the common good of everyone."

"It is for the common good.", Tyler lowered his voice as two girls passed by him, giving him sex eyes and winks. "Arthur Miller deserved the best.", Tyler looked back towards Josh

"Okay, but you have to promise me something.", Josh said in a serious tone, as he walked outside the school.

"What is it?", Tyler asked slightly intrigued.

"You have to promise you won't fall in love with me.", Josh stopped walking and turned to face Tyler.

Tyler looked at Josh as if he was an idiot, and chuckled. "That's not a problem, I'm straight.", he laughed and smirked.
