Tyler followed the directions the nurse at the front had given him. He took a right down the hall as his eyes scanned for "182". He knocked on the door as he poked his head slowly in.

"What are you doing here?", Dallon asked as he turned his head to the doorway.

"I wanted to check and see if you were okay.", Tyler walked in and fumbled with his hands nervously.

"You know, I wanted so bad to be friends with you and all your dickhead friends. But now, I don't even understand why i did. You're all just selfish pricks who peaked too soon in high school.", Dallon rolled his eyes.

"I deserve that.", Tyler muttered sitting down next to him in a chair. "I don't know why i wanted to be friends with them either. I'm not anymore.", Tyler leaned back in the chair.

"Why?", Dallon asked sitting up straighter in his bed, his cast on his leg restricting certain movements of how heavy it was.

"I just realized what you did.", Tyler kept it short and sweet.

Dallon nodded his head in agreement and chuckled. "I want to tell you that I did jump.", Tyler stated. "I was scared shitless. And i hit my hand on something the first time i did it."

"Good.", Dallon chuckled.

"Broken hand for a few months.", Tyler laughed along.

"What have you been up to? I mean since you been away from them?", Dallon asked.

"Josh.", Tyler smirked.

"Josh as in Josh Dun?", Dallon's eyes widened a bit in shock.

"Yeah. I became his friend, and then we sorta became more.", Tyler's face lit up as he smiled.

"Well, you look happy just talking about him.", Dallon smiled.

"I am. Very happy.", Tyler stated.

Tyler turned his head to the small knock coming from the door. A nurse stood there and smiled sweetly walking in. "I see you got a visitor Dallon.", she smiled and walked closer to the bed. Dallon smiled back.

"I'm here to do my check up.", She smiled.

"Well, man, i guess i better go then. I gotta get back home.", Tyler stood up and winked at him as he nodded to the nurse.

Dallon laughed and reached over hugging him. "I'll see you in a few weeks, man.", Dallon watched as Tyler nodded and walked out of the room.

Tyler parked his car his face turning to confusion as he sees a station wagon parked outside. He walks up the steps and into the house seeing Mrs. Joseph and Principal Willits sitting at the kitchen table.

"Mom?", Tyler quirked a brow feeling a bit uneasy.

"You're not in trouble, Tyler.". Principal Willits says as she slides a paper in front of him at the table. Tyler sits down looking at the paper.

"You came here to give me my report card?", Tyler asked still confused. His mom looks over at the paper seeing his grades, her eyes widening.

"I've seen students with records like yours that drastically change like this. Students go to a junior college and end up transferring to a really good university.", She smiled.

"These are amazing.", Mrs. Joseph looked at Tyler putting her hand on his back and rubbing it as she smiled.

"Id gladly write you a letter of recommendation.", Principal Willits smiled again.
